Dannylonglegs Posted June 11, 2015 Posted June 11, 2015 //"I, Dr. Danielle Long, graciously accept the book. I'll admit, I've been keen to read it. So many fascinating strategems with which to exploit all these worlds. As a Scientist, I am an avid learner, and shall take to heart every lesson therein. Hail Octan, and Lord Business. Dr. Long out. Enceladus Posted June 11, 2015 Posted June 11, 2015 //I, One note: a freebuild cannot be set on a planet that Octan does not either control or control a planet adjacent to (that includes competition builds), so I recommend taking the pictures, and featuring them as like a "meanwhile on Torresta" type thing for (or a prequil to) another build set on a planet Octan can build on. If you want help choosing where to build, PM me or anyone else on the team until we get you added to the group PM. Can't wait to see it! ~Insectoid Aristocrat Did I say Torresta? I meant Farmolis...or whatever the Octan home world is! Of course being a spaceship, it could really be set anywhere. Having read over the rules again, I think it's best to make my weekly build count as much as possible, so I think I'll reconsider-is there anywhere particularly where we are focusing out efforts this week? Sure, you can certainly build on Farmolis. A spaceship is awesome! A more strategic location than Homeworld would be nice if that's fine with you. And since it's a ship, you can always feature both and set the official location as the non-Farmolis planet you choose! ~Insectoid Aristocrat Quote

Dannylonglegs Posted June 13, 2015 Posted June 13, 2015 (edited) party in the spreadsheet chat room! I will be filing a complaint to the Revelry and Merriment branch of the Human Resources department about all this rowdy partying. It is not Tacos and Tequila Tuesday. And all over the spreadsheets too. Ugh. ~Dr. Long Edited June 13, 2015 by Dannylonglegs Quote
kabel Posted June 13, 2015 Posted June 13, 2015 Hans-Heinrich Himmelmann is reporting for duty. Hans-Heinrich Himmelmann, usually called H3 by everybody in the company (personally he prefers to be called Henry, being embarresed of his German heritage), is a civil engineer specialised on constructing so called earthships, autonomous habitation modules that provide shelter, electricity and food for their occupants. This usually makes H3 one of the first to be delivered to a new planet, an often rather dangerous situation. So after a few years of duty for the Octan Corp. Henry had decided to quit the job, his thirst for adventure had been quenched! However, his little? drinking habit proofed to be rather expensive, forcing him to return into the arms of the company. Octan of course knows about his habbit, but usually remains silent about it, Henry being rather valuable due to his building skills. However, since drinking is not according to the official Octan rules, Henry is always prone to be blackmailed by his superiors, thus driving him even further into the bottle. Quote
