Peppermint_M Posted November 1, 2014 Posted November 1, 2014 The Phantom Cat is a custom car that some ill gotten gains purchased for Ms Sinister. It can outpace her brother's jalopy, so that little sibling rivalry is solved. Racing against the Baron is an extra thrill, never mind the goodie-twoshoes out there. Whether escaping the scene of a "unpermitted, permenant loan" or getting away quickly from a dig site, the Phantom Cat has you covered. Not a refresh of an original LEGO set really, I just love building cars out of LEGO. This little number was based in part on some experiments when building the Island Raider and in on the Sato-Mobiles that turn up in Legend of Korra (which I have been watching) because Adventurers and LoK draw stylistically from the same era. Alexis is on the hunt for relics and riches with a new look now she's not chasing down dinosaurs. Clawdette's head print was a good replacement for the old print, Wild West Wyldestyle's torso looks suitably fatal and Space Police 3 printed legs finish the outfit off. The Lone Ranger gun finishes you off! Another of my no original parts figures. I never had the minifigure and since the style change meant the little pupil detail I like, well, I had to use a different head anyway. This figure came together because I just had to build a bad gal! I wanted something that looks along the lines of a cat-burglar without outright using the Catwoman torso. Oh, and despite the glaring errors in certain places to remain nameless, she is Alexis Sinister. Not Sanister (sounds like a company that covers the refreshment of those oh-so-delicate disposal apparatus that reside in public conveniences). She is Sam Sinister's sister. It is in one of the LEGO books if you care to look it up. Quote
TheLazyChicken Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 Great job! Wildstyles torso does fit her well, keep up the good work! Quote
Peppermint_M Posted November 4, 2014 Author Posted November 4, 2014 Thanks everyone. I just love those sort of cars. There is a Morgan dealership on the route to my old secondary school/in to town so I see such spiffy cars so often that I just love to build within that style. I am also working on a timeline for Adventurers & Pharaoh's Quest plus my own ideas. Quote
