yovnocrats Posted July 8, 2007 Posted July 8, 2007 i was a TRU today and say the new racers playsets freshly stocked on the shelves. i didnt buy any because im broke, and i havent seen anyone mention this, so i thought id let you know. Quote
Grand Moff Viceroy Posted July 8, 2007 Posted July 8, 2007 Thanks, although I usually use Lego brand stores and not interested in mini sets and mostly star wars. Quote
xbloodyfangs Posted July 8, 2007 Posted July 8, 2007 I find it a little disturbing that LEGO made a bridge chase set where they advertise that the "bad guy" cars need your help to escape the police and break through toll booths without paying. 8-| Oh, well, I never liked racers anyway. Quote
Lord Admiral Helden Ravensdorn Posted July 10, 2007 Posted July 10, 2007 Im so tempted to get Bridge Chase in honour of all those mini-lego-car races I had with m'friend Jimmy back in 2001. Quote
prateek Posted July 11, 2007 Posted July 11, 2007 those sets are really cool but a little too expensive Quote
MatthewUSA Posted July 11, 2007 Posted July 11, 2007 I really like these sets for the new wheel hubs. I am using these hubs with the larger tires from the original Racers Big Rig for my cars. These work great for such models. They are slightly smaller than the wheels on the Terrain Crusher. Those wheels are great for pick-up trucks and vans. Quote
flanker Posted July 14, 2007 Posted July 14, 2007 I really like the Tiny Turbo's, the new Bullet Run and the Bridge Chase. This because they aren't to big. With these small cars and buildings you can create a big city on a small area. The only thing that's wrong with these small sets are the 'big' price's. Do you know why? Tiny Turbo's with high price's would mean, in my eyes, 'big turbo's' for low price's. Quote
