Ltfalcon Posted November 27, 2014 Posted November 27, 2014 169C I always liked the look of the Barbary Pirate ships. The United East India Co. Just captured and commandeered this low and fast Xebec after the pirates bumbled their attack. Thanks for looking, Quote
deraven Posted November 27, 2014 Posted November 27, 2014 Really nice, sleek looking ship. I especially like the railing! The decking also looks very rich with this color scheme. Quote

Captain Braunsfeld Posted November 30, 2014 Posted November 30, 2014 There's a strong push towards bluecoats in the forum these days. (As I understand, your bluecoats belong to the Netherlands.) And they get another nice and fast ship - excellent! Good job in modifying the LOTR-ship. Sails look much nicer this way. Quote

Captain Braunsfeld, Thanks, yes these blue coats doubled well for Dutch East India co. Also you have a good eye, yes most of the dark brown hull pieces, the two stairs, and four slopes, along with the treasure trunk are from the LOTR ship, everything else is from the parts bin, or custom made. Thanks again, Quote
Mazin Posted December 25, 2014 Posted December 25, 2014 Seems that one of those sailors is wearing a xix/xx century marine cap Still, i like his custom uniform very much Belle epoque offers a lot of great outfits and headgears, that are much closer to our times And i can't see clearly what did You use for gun carriages. These are not the standard ones, as i can't spot any wheels... Quote

Mazin, Thanks again, yes I ordered additional supplies that I ran short on. :) Now they all have period correct Dutch VOC uniforms and hats, or as close as I could come up with. Enjoyed chatting with you, Merry Christmas to you and your family. Quote
