I had some problem with my webhost, This is now fixed.

I must check everything, because sometimes you're wrong. It takes a lot of time. (that I do not have)

But, yes, it is an illegal build.

I don't know why it happens to me and not you.

Replacing the rearmost middle panel by a 1 L shorter fake panel built from beams is very legal ;-) and works perfect. Still looks good

What is the illegal part in the build that makes your crane not colliding with the load bed? I'm currently building this awesome truck and trailer and would like to know what I have to do to make it work properly.

And what major parts are missing or changing??

I'm building this soon and will give my full attention to these issues. I'm hoping that the instructions have been updated after all this time!! We'll see!!

I am building it now, have it completely assembled, only the loading deck and side panels are still to come. Have to order them first. There are only a few small errors, nothing that is serious, sometimes it is not completely clear where or in what position something has to go. Can't wait to get all the panels and one extension wire to get it finished.

Hi Dafgek,

As you can see in my video the crane colliding with the load bed is not a major problem. It's just an illegal build. The solution is to delete the 5x11 panel and replace it with liftarm.

 

To allow a modular assembly, we have on instruction added a pin with bush. But he collides with the steering. Replace it be a classic pin.

 

And he misses a 3L liftarm below the crane

It is a Problem because the crane can not slew properly...

here is the solution:

 Have applied some other fixes to the BI ... but Overall this is an awesome model- highly recommended

Will wait and see, have to order some parts to finish the truck and trailer, so will apply these fixed where I can. Which liftarms should I use, 1x5 or 1x9.  1x5 Should give a cleaner look I think.

just finished this MOC with all the changes including the 24t clutch gear and it works great....wonderful truck...thanks for the instructions!!
