nxtstep101 Posted January 10, 2015 Posted January 10, 2015 Hello everyone, it is me again. I was wondering if it is possible to make different bricks colors other than the ones that LDD has available? Or is there a third-party program that would allow me to do this? Also, is it at all possible to change the color of a bunch of LEGO bricks at once? I find it very time consuming to go to every single brick and manually change the color. Quote
monkeyjay2003 Posted January 10, 2015 Posted January 10, 2015 First, none that I know of. Second, if it a certain color you want another color, you go to the color selection tool, and then click paint. select your color, and your good to go. You can also see Aanchir's file on the reference topic. It has all the colors available in LDD. Quote

Yes, I know how to change the color of the brick, but what I mean't to say was that on certain bricks there is less color options than on others. For instance there is a shade of green that is available for 2x2 bricks but not for 2x3 bricks. It would be really helpful if I could change it to that same shade of green as the 2x2. Sorry if the question wasn't very clear. Quote
Leewan Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 Use the extended mode, you'll be able to use every brick in every color. If you want to color several brick at once, select them, create a group from your selection, select the bucket tool, and click on the group (in the group tab) to change the color of all your bricks. I hope it's clear. Quote

nxtstep101 Posted January 17, 2015 Author Posted January 17, 2015 I have another quick question about LDD: is there any way for me to "center" a lego model perfectly? For instance if I am taking an angled shot and have to move the model around quite a bit. Thanks. Quote
Classicsmiley Posted January 17, 2015 Posted January 17, 2015 I'm not sure what you mean by "center perfectly", but hitting the 5 on the number pad should fit all of the model into the frame. Quote
nxtstep101 Posted January 17, 2015 Author Posted January 17, 2015 That is actually what I was looking for, thanks! Quote
Calabar Posted January 17, 2015 Posted January 17, 2015 It is the same function provided by the round arrow button in the center lower part of the scene. ;) Quote
