Sorry, but a random wiki that can be edited by anyone is not a good source of evidence to prove this. the wiki probably got the sister description from Lego.com, and as you may have observed in this thread, there's a lot of conflicting sources to that. (the app, other pages in the side, the questionable voice actor gender, etc)

Amazon.de now has the sets listed as "sold by Amazon" with a release date of January 16th... and at retail price :hmpf_bad:

In that case, I would rather purchase them from the Lego Store, at least I get VIP points then.

I also checked Metro Cash&Carry today (as I do about every other day) and while there were no sets on the shelves yet, a printout of the new shelf layout was lying around and they will be carrying Nexo Knights. Unfortunately, there was no one around to ask when they will receive them, but prices at Metro are usually very good (at least 10% off from retail), so I just ... have to ... hold ... out ... a little longer ...

Cheers

Someone seriously needs to contact LEGO and/or the creators of the theme (could we get Nabii on here?) to confirm Flama's gender once and for all.

But yeah, the creepy forest/swamp seems to be the next theme. An underwater theme could be interesting if they go weirder and wackier than Atlantis, which covered all of the bases, really.

Yes please. We need official confirmation from LEGO to finally know Flama's gender.

Here's something to look forward to, when the ultimate flama set comes out, we'll get a set description that could finally tell us the gender. Until then, it's unconfirmed what gender flama could be. Just wait a couple more months.

My theory is Lego planned for Flama to be female, but then saw someone post on here that she appears to be bare-chested, so hastily changed her to a male...

In all seriousness, it does seem likely Flama is male since there doesn't seem to be a "bra"-type pattern like there is on Whiparella.

That's true. All we have to do now is wait until ultimate flama set comes out.

Or... you know, wait until she shows up in the show. Which, by the looks of it, will be very soon.

Also, keep in mind that when Lego wants to show skin on their minifigs, males are typically bare chested, whereas females have some sort of covering (or something visually similar) over their breasts at minimum. Flama's appearance leans towards the latter.

Um well defined pecs, six pack and dorsal muscles...looks like a fit dude, Lego gives the girls the slight appearance of a busy normally

She doesn't look bare-chested to me

Flama can be whatever gender you want them to be. looks pretty androgynous. so dont be wound so tightly about the gender.

Hi,

I desiged the Nexo Knight characters and Flama is Male. You will see him in the TV show.

He has been designed as Being twin brother with Moltor..

They are Twins but represent the 2 opposits of Lava form... liquid and rockyfied...

I hope it answered the question definitly

Well I'd say Amazing job all around! Thanks for pushing for all the extras: armor helmets etc! The villians are fantastic too!

Oh, well. I can still think of Flama as female if I want to.

And I can still think of Flama as gender neutral.

But it's nice to have a confirmation from the designer that there was an original intention in gender at one point.

You betcha!

Interesting to hear that. Thanks for the confirmation, Alexandre!

It's also interesting to know their approximate age, they are tweens.

Kidding, I think he was intending to say twins, judging by context. And they do look very similar.
