Gamespots latest article on the game had an interesting tidbit

"There will be several bonus characters that you can purchase from the Kingdom of the Crystal skull"

I wonder who they will be?

EDIT:

April Fools!

What do you mean IS ?

That shirtless nazi dude is really well made, Thot is right on target, Marion has the correct colours and what have you.

Sure they are not perfect replicas but itrs Lego you know :-P

*yoda*

Well...

-Indy didn't wear his disquise in the Well of the Souls, he was in his 'normal clothing' (leather jacket and all)

-Marions shirt isn't the same design

-I don't think Indy ever takes off his jacket.

I'm just being nit-picky X-D !

DESCRIPTION

LEGO Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures takes the fun and creative construction of LEGO and combines it with the wits, daring and non-stop action from the original cinematic adventures that enthralled audiences everywhere (Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade). With a unique tongue-in-cheek take on the original adventures, LEGO Indiana Jones follows Dr. Jones escapades through the jungles of South America to the mountaintops of India. Fans can build, battle and brawl their way through their favorite cinematic moments, from Indy’s entanglements with snakes to his dashing boulder run.

Of course, pop culture’s most iconic archeologist will whip through all the classic moments with the help of a host of supporting characters including Marion Ravenwood and Short Round. Players can also mix and match the body parts of more than 60 playable characters to create new heroes just as they could in the best-selling LEGO Star Wars™ games.

PRODUCT INFORMATION

• Everyone’s favorite fedora wearing hero returns to theaters this May in Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull and families can celebrate the humor and excitement of the original films with LEGO Indiana Jones.

• Tongue-in-cheek humor presents The Original Adventures in a manner only LEGO can whip up, with comical reinterpretations of classic Indiana Jones scenes and elements.

• Use Indy’s signature whip as a multi-purpose tool to attack, disarm, swing across gaps, activate levers and interact with a world of LEGO objects and puzzles.

• For the first time, LEGO Indy characters are fully immersed in their environment; swim, climb, shimmy across rock ledges and pick up and carry objects.

• Use a variety of weapons from the environment to fight enemies (e.g., chairs, guns, swords, bottles).

• Unlock more than 60 playable characters, including villains and supporting characters (Marion Ravenwood, Short Round, Rene Belloq, Willie Scott, Marcus Brody, Jones Senior and Mola Ram).

• Character specific abilities include excavation by Satipo, an umbrella slide by Marcus Brody, and monkey access by Marion Ravenwood.

• Create unique playable characters like Sallah Scott or Mola Round by mixing and matching the LEGO body parts of all playable characters.

• Explore the globe and solve puzzles that encourage creative thinking through the use of teamwork and unique building situations only possible in a LEGO world.

• Cooperative gameplay encourages parents to share the legacy of Indiana Jones with their children in a fun and humorous way.

Enjoy~ *tongue*

There's not really anything new, but hey, it's encouraging!

But before I go, how about.. some DS screens? I'm actually quite looking forward to the DS title, and may have to check it out. Having played Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga for the DS and thoroughly enjoying it, I think this has great potential. The same team are working on it, so I have great faith that it'll turn out just right. Here you go!

Interview with Paul Freeman (who played Belloq in Raiders of the Lost Ark), about Lego Indiana Jones Here. Looks like Paul doesn't think his minifig looks much like him either. There's a new pic in there, it's of just before the Ark ceremony.

Here is that Ark picture: Screen01_image6.jpg.jpg

I like both of their hats.(Belloq and Tohts)

EDIT: I just noticed there's a Russian soilder!

Now that is a good video! I love these films so much. It's good to see them in Lego form :D. Awesome cutscene!

I have a question:

Do you also as in Lego Star Wars make models with those white, red, green, things?

I thought they also were in Lego Batman.

Edit:

Just saw the movie above, they are in the game, but now as golden treasure chest.

I heard in the demo you will play in the temple of doom, but it's not sure! And THE-FORCE, they are making a lego batman game, and i dunno why they make a pinned topic for it, like indy. And btw here's the trailer for it force.

I'm surprised no one has found these yet!

3 new videos of extended cutscenes and gameplay from the Temple of the Hovitos and Nepal! Belloq looks hilarious as does Toht when he is defeated!

I like it how the characters start hitting each other.

Also, here's my mini-roundup of what I find interesting:

1. Phobias: Indy; snakes. Willie; bugs. Dr. Henry Jones Sr.; rats.

2. In video 3, you can see machine gun fire and Indy using one, as well as using a pistol and a bottle!

3. Major Toht has soldier access, as no doubt Colonel Dietrich, soldier Indy, and other enemy soldiers will! :oh:

4. I see something in one of the videos(2, I believe) which mentions how 'Only Thuggees know the secrets of unlocking this statue' or something like that. I love character-unique puzzles...

5. The demo is out on, as the Riddler said, May 12, coincidentally my brother's birthday.

6. THIS GAME ROCKS! Wait, you know that already...

Indy ON!

Also, notice in the avatars section on the website how there is one of Young Indy in a green fedoralike hat and jacket! :oh:

I also notice a 'Fat boy scout'! :oh3:
