8BrickMario Posted February 17, 2016 Posted February 17, 2016 The fetch-quests don't bother me, but the race on the lighthouse is the hardest in the game, just narrowly beating the one outside Burns' mansion in the Simpsons world. Quote

Believe it or not I actually completed that side quest before I deleted The Simpsons level pack data to my game. That one was for Groundskeeper Willie, right? 8BrickMario Posted February 17, 2016 Posted February 17, 2016 No, I was talking about the race. The fetch-quests are really easy as long as you have a flying/diving character and look at the minimap. Quote

gamejutzu Posted February 18, 2016 Posted February 18, 2016 (edited) LEGO now has an excuse to not include Star Wars in this game, and it's the same excuse they used with Marvel. "They have their own game" Translation- "Disney" Honestly though, would anything change if Disney didn't have the license to both SW and Marvel? Or would LEGO give another excuse? Lego probably wants those two franchises in badly, (think of all the money they could get from those, especially SW) but Disney said no because it directly conflicts with Disney Infinity. Quote
mediumsnowman Posted February 18, 2016 Posted February 18, 2016 the race on the lighthouse is the hardest in the game I used the Wicked Witch, and that race wasn't actually that hard. I beat it in enough time for the gold brick on only my 2nd try. (First one I got hung up on the turn through the skull rock's eye) Quote

Koquillion Posted February 18, 2016 Posted February 18, 2016 I like going onto Disney Infinity forums and asking "No DC or Doctor Who?". Without SW and Marvel, LD has managed to make a massive impact without these perceived 'killer IP's'. In the UK alone, 2015 saw a 39% increase in the T2L sector (£93Mil in 2014 £139mil in 2015) and this is largely due to LD''s unique LEGO builds and the existing Tt game fans, not because of the franchises. Darth Wayne Posted February 18, 2016 Posted February 18, 2016 Is there a way to tell which races you already completed/have got a gold brick from? Quote
Starscream759 Posted February 18, 2016 Posted February 18, 2016 Is there a way to tell which races you already completed/have got a gold brick from? I guess it depends on where you are I suppose. Quote
Hulk_Smash Posted February 18, 2016 Posted February 18, 2016 Is there a way to tell which races you already completed/have got a gold brick from? On the mini map it will show a purple stud instead of a gold brick if you have it. Quote
Darth Wayne Posted February 19, 2016 Posted February 19, 2016 On the mini map it will show a purple stud instead of a gold brick if you have it. Are you sure? I coulda sworn that races only show the race icon on the mini map, not the gold brick hmmm... Also: I now understand why that race atop the lighthouse in Scooby World is considered hard :( Which character/vehicle did you guys use to finish it? I tried Wicked Witch and made it to the side of the island where 2 rings are so far apart that no matter what i do it's NEVER enough by a hair to make it, she's not fast enough. Quote
Hulk_Smash Posted February 19, 2016 Posted February 19, 2016 Ok, maybe thats just for quests then :/ (I thought I saw the purple stud after I did a race, I might have been mistaken) Quote
Koquillion Posted February 19, 2016 Posted February 19, 2016 Ok, maybe thats just for quests then :/ (I thought I saw the purple stud after I did a race, I might have been mistaken) I don't think you are wrong, it appears to depend on where you are on the map as it sometimes zooms in and when it's big enough, you can see a stud or brick. The best way is to approach the starting gate as a gold brick hovers in the middle if it's not completed and a purple stud if it has! Quote

Yeah i just figured that may be the only way to be SURE you got the gold brick already or not... Ugh, tonight i'm gonna try that damned race one more time with Benny's Spaceship. Shame it's so much less maneuverable than Wicked Witch is Quote

Wait, you can...boost with Wicked Witch? UGH i feel like such an idiot right now! How come it doesn't work with L1 (PS4) though like it does with the vehicle boosts?? Maybe i'll try the other buttons hmmm Quote
Darth Wayne Posted February 20, 2016 Posted February 20, 2016 Ok, so i FINALLY beat that race!!! After figuring out you can actually boost with WW, it still took me like half an hour of failed attempts to finally make it :) Felt good though in the end Quote
CM4Sci Posted February 21, 2016 Posted February 21, 2016 Official Dimensions Twitter posted something about a hidden dimension that needs 20 gold bricks. I don't own the game, but what is it? Quote
Hulk_Smash Posted February 21, 2016 Posted February 21, 2016 I think that is the Mystery Dimension, where you fight waves of enemies based on which worlds you have unlocked. Each wave you beat gives you a gold brick. Quote
CM4Sci Posted February 21, 2016 Posted February 21, 2016 Oh, nothing too interesting then. Thought it was a teaser for the 2HY wave of packs or something. Quote
Forresto Posted February 21, 2016 Posted February 21, 2016 So do you have to delete worlds to add new ones or if you buy everything for the game you just get a massive game world to play in? Quote
Hulk_Smash Posted February 21, 2016 Posted February 21, 2016 It's basically a real world table that you battle one, each time you add a new world it adds a new wave of enemies to fight. Quote
