BlueberryWaffles Posted May 6, 2016 Posted May 6, 2016 If it wasn't already obvious, Green Arrow is another promotion pack - I just got the official name for it. Please don't be expensive on Ebay, pleeeease don't be expensive on Ebay..... Is he for E3 or something else? Quote

Soupperson1 Posted May 6, 2016 Posted May 6, 2016 As a sonic fan girl I'm glad it's finally going to make its LEGO debut. I'm a bit disappointed in it only being a Dimensions exclusive, seeing how much they could do with it. I can't wait to see which characters they'll include, even as background ones. Oh and it's Sonic's 25th anniversary so this seems fitting. Can the level be the "Chao Massacre" from Sonic Adventure? <3 Quote
CM4Sci Posted May 6, 2016 Posted May 6, 2016 I think it will be a Level Pack with only Sonic. I don't know any concrete details but those are my guesses. My guess. Quote

Fantastic Beasts is also coming, so it's a good year for Sonic and Harry Potter. I think it will be a Level Pack with only Sonic. I don't know any concrete details but those are my guesses. My guess. Can you tell me more about Harry Potter? I'm still wondering how you know more. Quote
JasonInquires Posted May 6, 2016 Posted May 6, 2016 @Vassal CM4Sci is a well known LEGO insider, who will drop teases as he pleases. Just be patient and have fun. They'll let us know when they want us to know something. Quote

Master_Data Posted May 6, 2016 Posted May 6, 2016 (edited) I'm patient. But I want to know how he knows more. There are quite a few people on this forum who have sources in various places. If they would reveal how they knew, those sources would get shut down. EDIT: Edited in light of comment below. Didn't mean to sound harsh. Edited May 6, 2016 by Master_Data Quote

Actor Builder Posted May 6, 2016 Posted May 6, 2016 I accept that. I was just wondering it. Don't take it so hard. (I'm not angry.) It's like a cult. The Bigman doesn't like it when the Littleman gets curious. I just don't worry about it and wait for LEGO to say stuff straight from LEGO's mouth. Quote

npgcole Posted May 6, 2016 Posted May 6, 2016 So I was thinking about those "connectables" sets, and what if they're alternate builds for the Toy Pad? The current one with the starter pack is easily removable, so it could be possible. Just an idea. Quote

The hub world would be... Strange, to say the least. What're they gonna do? Put Mobius in the sky and Earth at the bottom? Add Space Colony ARK? Eggmanland? Planet Wisp?? The world possibilities could get creative, but it's nothing too amazing to my knowledge. Also, there's the glaring issue of the minifigure. Unless they release new pieces, I really can't see a Sonic figure as anything but a costume, as minifigs are way to wide to fit the Sonic franchise (with the exceptions of Big, Vector, Eggman, Amy, Charmy, etc.). At this point all I can do is kick back and see what they have planned... I'd love a team pack of Sonic and Shadow, or just a Shadow fun pack, as his moveset is pretty distinguishable from Sonic's. Also LOL Chao Massacre XD Edited May 7, 2016 by gamejutzu Quote

LegoPercyJ Posted May 8, 2016 Posted May 8, 2016 Over in the Ghostbusters Reboot Discussion, Just2Good said there will be a Chinese Restaurant set facade. He said it will be a 'new type of set'. This lead to some people (including myself) to speculate this 'new type of set could be the Connectable. I'd imagine a mini toy pad with a small piece from one of the realms in place of the portal, possibly with one or two figures and a new level. Imagine, we could finally get a Clock Tower... Quote

I've scanned the site, still don't know what a "connectable" actually is. How can you connect an entire set to the toypad? Or is it a minibuild? I imagine Green Hill will probably be part of the hub world given that it is an iconic part of the Sonic franchise. I suppose so, but if they're gonna add other things, they'll have to be really careful on what they choose, otherwise fans will rage. I guess It can work like this: - Grass/field area: Green Hill - Sea area/underwater: Seaside Hill/Ocean Temple/Hydrocity - Above/under the world locations: Space Colony/Death Egg/Egg Carrier - City area: Casino Night Zone or Crisis City. (i'd prefer Casino Night, since it's more colorful, and it can have dynamic weather implemented to make it night). But, I dunno. All we do however, is that Green Hill would be included. Hulk_Smash Posted May 8, 2016 Posted May 8, 2016 If they do I can't see them doing a Back to the Future one, there's only two characters they could have done for that and they have. Quote

LEGODalekbuster523 Posted May 8, 2016 Posted May 8, 2016 Biff would have superstrength. And Lorraine could put out LEGO fires I guess. Who would want to buy Biff or Lorraine though? Doc Brown and Marty Mcfly are big pop culture icons but only fans have heard of Biff Tannen and Lorraine McFly. They're a lot more obscure, especially compared to characters from the likes of Doctor Who, The Simpsons, DC Comics, Jurassic Park etc... Quote
