Duvors Posted June 9, 2015 Posted June 9, 2015 (edited) "Does anyone here want this?" Said Throlar holding up his viper scale, "I don't have any use for it myself you know." Edited June 9, 2015 by Lord Duvors Quote
Kintobor Posted June 9, 2015 Posted June 9, 2015 After introducing herself and watching Manny's father get to work, she looks in awe at the armour, her pupils growing like wildfire. She notices the rest of the party looking over it as well, but certain pieces particularly speaking to Annienal. "I'll, um.... I personally want the mask and the wings." Loot Distribution Lethauros Mail +75 of Annienal's gold- Vindsval Lethauros Enforcers + 75 of Annienal's gold- Sylph Lethauros Ring + 75 of Annienal's gold- Throlar Lethauros Crushers + 75 of Annienal's gold- Warlen Lethauros Mask and Fellwings- Annienal "If there's any issue, please let me know. I've tried dividing it as equally as... um, possible. I, um, don't want to seem too greedy, so here, you all can have 75 of my gold, each." 75x4=300 710-300=410 gold Annienal, It is your right and privilege to distribute these fine items amongst us. I do not relish you the task. I myself know not which I would choose. Though The mail and wings both hold my attention quite strongly. Before we go, I would also wish to speak of the bright polish with you, if you would be open to such a discussion. "I, um... guess I can talk. What were you willing to trade? Or perhaps purchase?" Taking a quick look on his person, Annienal noticed his gemstones. "How about one of your gemstones for my bright polish?" "Does anyone here want this?" Said Throlar holding up his viper scale, "I don't have any use for it myself you know." "I'll, um, take it off your hands, Throlar, um, if that's alright. Or you could maybe sell it to the blacksmith?" Quote
The Chosen Minifigure Posted June 9, 2015 Posted June 9, 2015 (edited) "Anyone want these enforcers? To be honest, they're useless to me. I've got gloves already, which are more powerful in the long run anyway. I wouldn't mind the ring, Throlar. Wanna trade?" Warlen then turns to the boy's dad. "I don't suppose you've got anything else for sale? Or maybe you're interested in this Viper Scale?" Edited June 9, 2015 by The Chosen Minifigure Quote
Asphalt Posted June 9, 2015 Posted June 9, 2015 Vindsval accepts the Mail and gold. A hard decision, but you did admirably. Better than I would have. The distribution of wealth was the most difficult part of command. "I, um... guess I can talk. What were you willing to trade? Or perhaps purchase?" Taking a quick look on his person, Annienal noticed his gemstones. "How about one of your gemstones for my bright polish? Vindsval pulls his gems from their pouch. You have many of the same stones as I. Would you be interested in perhaps a Topaz or Garnet in exchange? "Anyone want these enforcers? To be honest, they're useless to me. I've got gloves already, which are more powerful in the long run anyway. I wouldn't mind the ring, Throlar. Wanna trade?" What would you want in exchange for the Enforcers Warlen? Quote
The Chosen Minifigure Posted June 9, 2015 Posted June 9, 2015 "I dunno, really. What've you got? Gold? Maybe that mail, or that green hood?" Quote
The Chosen Minifigure Posted June 9, 2015 Posted June 9, 2015 Doing some quick arithmetic in his head, Warlen grins. "125 to 150?" Quote
Asphalt Posted June 9, 2015 Posted June 9, 2015 Seems a fair range. Vindsval Holds out a pouch containing 135 Gold. Shall we split your difference? Quote
Dannylonglegs Posted June 9, 2015 Posted June 9, 2015 "Wait... Am I not the one designated to receive the Enforcers?" Stated Sylph, curiously. Quote
Asphalt Posted June 9, 2015 Posted June 9, 2015 Indeed you are Slyph, It would seem I overlooked that. Quote
Dannylonglegs Posted June 9, 2015 Posted June 9, 2015 Indeed you are Slyph, It would seem I overlooked that. "No worries." Stated the Druid simply. Quote

Kintobor Posted June 9, 2015 Posted June 9, 2015 Annienal hesitantly puts the Bright Polish away. "Um... I think I'm going to sit on it. Why don't you ask me back in the hall?" Putting away her new armour, Annienal keeps her new helmet out, looking it over, it's white sheen sparkling in the sun. She put her dented, rather plain helmet away and began to admire it and the ways the sun reflected off of it. She looked nearly enthralled by it until she snapped out of her slight trance and put it away quickly. She looked to Sylph. She'd wanted to ask him a question for the past few hours. She motioned him over with a worried look. "Sylph, the men who attacked us, this Silvania's Thorn... they wore the same helmets as you, and wore somewhat similar garb. Did you.... did you have some sort of affiliation with them?" Quote
Asphalt Posted June 9, 2015 Posted June 9, 2015 I would be false to say I am not disappointed but I will breach the topic again once we return to the hall. After using the sai for the span of this adventure I need to determine which would serve me better. The Sai doing half damage twice, or Verkenner doing full damage from the rear. I do not have the armament to be a front line fighter such as you. I am still learning the witchery way, and the poison I am able to inflict does not seem to work as I had been lead to believe by the writings I studied. It will take some contemplation on my part. Vindsval catches the tail end of her question to Slyph. It would be interesting to see how he responds. It was impossible to not draw connections between the two figures. Quote

Did you.... did you have some sort of affiliation with them?" Sylph was caught off guard by the astute question. He turned back to the timid knight, emotionless in stance. "I-" he began, "No. No, I am not affiliated with those... fanatics.... not really." He faltered once more. The intelligent Annienal could tell he was thinking how he should respond. "There exists a little known sect among druidic circles... those who pay homage to an ancient figure known as the Dark Druid. He fought against the heroes who founded Heroica during the Orc invasion of Ennon... he... held certain beliefs... that resonate with some of the more... cynical of druids. Even now there are those who affiliate themselves with this figure's belief system... and they are wrong to do so. The Dark Druid was a fool, and those who follow his beliefs are even more foolish. That his beliefs have even a small following among those who love nature does upset me greatly..." He stopped once more. His voice was sad, heartbroken in fact... guilty even. "As for our similar attire... well... I don't suppose you'd believe me if I called it a coincidence?..." He asked, a tinge of regret in his voice. "Even... if I asked you to?" Quote
Asphalt Posted June 10, 2015 Posted June 10, 2015 Vindsval's ears cannot help but overhear the Druid's story. If I asked you to? Interesting, but who am I to judge? We are all entitled to our past. Slyph seems to be no different. He whispers softly to himself. Vindsval moves to the Smith and his son, both of whom have been strangely quiet since the reveal of the magnificent armor. Tell me Manny, MAster Smith, we will be departing shortly for our return trip to the Hall of Heroica. Before we leave is the anything you would have us do? And do you have any wares in your shop you would be willing or wishing to sell? Quote
Kintobor Posted June 10, 2015 Posted June 10, 2015 Sylph was caught off guard by the astute question. He turned back to the timid knight, emotionless in stance. -Stuff- Annienal listened to Sylph's response and crossed her arms. "I-... I understand. I will not pry further." Annienal pauses for a moment, looking Sylph over. His voice told her enough not to go into things further... at least for the time being. "I appreciate your honesty with me. Thank you." Quote
The Chosen Minifigure Posted June 10, 2015 Posted June 10, 2015 "Makes sense, yes." "Oh, wait, they're crushers. Still up for a trade?" Quote

Annienal pauses for a moment, looking Sylph over. His voice told her enough not to go into things further... at least for the time being. "I appreciate your honesty with me. Thank you." "Thank you." Stated the druid in the iron helmet. "There are those who wear this attire out of pride and allegiance: those who look up to that ancient fallen being. I am not one of them. This mask is not a symbol of devotion, but rather, a burden I must bear. My devotion lies only with Sylvania, I worship none other than my godess." His voice sounded old and tired, but when he spoke his godess' name, Annienal could hear the love on his voice, and knew he was telling the truth. Quote
Kintobor Posted June 10, 2015 Posted June 10, 2015 Annienal nods her head at Sylph's response and admiring his devotion to his goddess. Masked people always made her curious, and although she still wondered who Sylph was beneath it, she felt better to drop the subject for the time being. "I'm going to head out. I've got some things to take care of. I'll hopefully see you all back at the hall. Um... I'll see you around, Manny... I hope!" Annienal made her way back, feeling anxious most of the way there, not sure of where she needed to go here on out. She had an important choice ahead of her, and she needed time to think about it. Thanks for the quest, Endgame! I had fun! I've got stuff I want to talk about, so I'll post my thoughts in the QM thread in a bit. If you could, can you also post the final stats for the quest, now the loots been divided for the most part? Thanks again! Quote
Endgame Posted June 11, 2015 Author Posted June 11, 2015 QM Note: It still seems like Warlen is confirming a trade with Throlar, for the crushers? 9For the record, you guys are free to leave whenever and go to the hall, I just need to know what was actually exhanged before I can update stats. Manny looks wide-eyed at Vindaval as he hears the tale of the dragon. "Wow... Things like that actually live here?! On Olegaia?! that's... amazing. Thanks heroes! Thanks a ton!" "I have no need for the viper scales, sorry." Quote
Duvors Posted June 11, 2015 Posted June 11, 2015 "Oh, wait, they're crushers. Still up for a trade?" "Do I really have to say yes twice?" Quote
Asphalt Posted June 11, 2015 Posted June 11, 2015 (edited) Many things such as that live here young one. In the future head your father when he tells you to stay close to home. I hope to meet again one day. The Giant reaches out and shakes the smith's hand. I thank you whole heartedly for the armor my new friend. May the Wanderer guide your path. He turns to the rest of the party. I will be on the way now my friends. I hope to see you all in the Hall shortly. Until then, Fare well. Thanks for the quest Endgame. I had fun. If you could post a final update for us that would be great. Edited June 12, 2015 by Asphalt Quote
