I finally saw BvS (and quite liked it), and I have to say, the line is relatively accurate compared to many movie-based sets. Some features are different than they actually appear (Lexcopter, Batman's traps for Superman's arrival), but everything actually had a point of origin from the source material.

Yeah I was reading the new character encyclopedia with Pirate Batman last week and there's two interviews with Lego Super Heroes designers and one of them said they had a script to work off of.

Also one of the designers said they try to include minifigs in the encyclopedias/dvds that won't fit in a proper set so for this encyclopedia they chose between Pirate Batman or Caveman Batman i.e:

Also one of the the designers says in regards to yet unproduced minifigs he's really looking forward to Lego doing Ra's Al Ghul as it's a favourite character of his, make of that what you will ;)

I'm paraphrasing a lot because I'm going off my memory as I don't have the book in front of me right now.

I bought it last week as apparently it was released 23 March in Australia. I'm not sure why Australia got it before US/UK.

Really? You're in the UK right? Amazon is exactly where I ordered it from and I've just gone back on and it still says in stock etc.

Most odd. And that thing about LEGO only using figs that won't fit in a normal set in DVD's and books is intriguing. However, they put The Trickster in one. If you ask me, he could easily of been in a set. Edited by AngelofVengeanceAzrael7

The encyclopaedia came out in ASDA and sainsburys in the UK 2 weeks ago. And Trickster probably just isn't recognisable enough to be in a set.

Are you crazy? He's one of The Flash's greatest villains, probably just behind Cold, Grodd and Reverse Flash.

Well the general public only know who he is because of CW Flash, and that even that Trickster had a very small role.

The 90's show? Mark Hamill? Seriously, this guy could easily be in a set. If Killer Moth is going to be in a set, then The Trickster should definitely have been. I'm not complaining he's not though, I got him cheap with the DVD

Killer moth has appeared in multiple animated features though and has been a toy multiple times whereas trickster is seen much less in kids media, plus flash's rogues are much less recognisable to the general public anyway. But I agree getting him cheap is awesome and I'd love to see more of Flash's rogues (reverse flash, weather wizard etc)

Looks like we're getting Green Arrow and Super Girl fun packs. :classic:

Very cool, thanks Just2good! :classic:

I already have some weird Green Arrow minifigure that I picked up at a comic convention - it's not the normal official LEGO one, it resembles the CW show's Arrow more, but it's also not the Comic Con exclusive version (at least I don't believe so). I think it's just a very good custom.

Supergirl I may get! I don't have LEGO Dimensions though, nor do I intend to get it, so I don't know if it's worth it for me.

Awesome! Please, Green Arrow have a green hood. Please. Please. Just waiting for the swarm of 'What about Raven?!' comments now lol.

I'm here now, your wait is over.

So, what could 71341-1 be? I have a guess.

Are these "fun packs" the Target exclusive cubes or are they something else? I hope if they are indeed new variants that they will be based off of their CW versions.

They're LEGO Dimensions, and should prolly be discussed in the Dimensions forum. But based on the previous DC Dimensions packs, they will be previously released figures. None of Superman, Cyborg, Wonder Woman, Joker/Harley Quinn were exclusive versions. Though other IPs like Dr Who, Ghostbusters, Back to the Future, Wizards of Oz, etc have gotten exclusive figures in Dimensions packs, so you never know...

Speaking of the Target minifigure cubes, I remember we knew about Lightning Lad and maybe Superboy as well??) wel in advance last year. Has there been any news or leaks about this year's, if there even will be one?

All right, I just saw the leaked in-game stills. Looks like the same hairpiece as the lifeguard and blue cheerleader from series 1. Thanks.

Isn't the ponytail piece their using one of the very few hairpieces compatible with the old capes? It sounds like the Dimensions packs are going to continue using the old cape materials, so there's at least one source for those for the foreseeable future.
