CM4Sci Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 I assume you can't share them with us but I have a question. Which variant does Batman and robin have? Batman had the old black suit and the new cowl. Grey legs, most of them have grey legs so I'm assuming those are stand ins. Robin has his 2012 variant.
Legocity2713 Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 Could you tell us about the Harley Quinn set? is she red and blue like we're led on to believe? Better descriptions of all the Micro Racers too would be appreciated. :classic:
psqidexslizer248 Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 (edited) I had a quick glance at really clear images of the Mighty Micros (and everything else!) They don't look that bad, to be honest. Oh, and yep, they've got short legs. Did you notice what variant of Deadshot Lego went with? What Lex Luthor looked like? What his henchman looked like? Is one of them Mercy Graves? Edited October 13, 2015 by psqidexslizer248
CM4Sci Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 Did you notice what variant of Deadshot Lego went with? What Lex Luthor looked like? What his henchman looked like? Is one of them Mercy Graves? No BvS sets. Deadshot is still solid white as the last catalog had.
psqidexslizer248 Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 No BvS sets. Deadshot is still solid white as the last catalog had. Alright, thank you.
TheRealDickDastardly Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 Any news on the '66 Batcave? That sounds like an insta-buy.
psqidexslizer248 Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 Any news on the '66 Batcave? That sounds like an insta-buy. Not yet.
CM4Sci Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 No mention of it in the catalog, so I guess that makes it a D2C.
TheRealDickDastardly Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 No mention of it in the catalog, so I guess that makes it a D2C. I wonder why they would do that with something that wiil obviously be a very popular set..? Or maybe only adult fans will appreciate it..
CM4Sci Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 They never put D2Cs in catalogs, and if they did they'd be blank boxes with 0 information other than the set number.
YoshiBlockr Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 Yep they have but a few sites still have them.
namioik Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 They never put D2Cs in catalogs, and if they did they'd be blank boxes with 0 information other than the set number. I think he was questioning Why the item is D2C, not why it isn't in the catalog
TheRealDickDastardly Posted October 14, 2015 Posted October 14, 2015 I think he was questioning Why the item is D2C, not why it isn't in the catalog Yes, I was, perhaps a better way of phrasing my question would have been: "Why is it direct to consumer? surely that can't be a good marketing strategy for something that will surely be very popular." :)
namioik Posted October 14, 2015 Posted October 14, 2015 Yes, I was, perhaps a better way of phrasing my question would have been: "Why is it direct to consumer? surely that can't be a good marketing strategy for something that will surely be very popular." :) Like you mentioned before, perhaps the target market is for the "older" builders
8BrickMario Posted October 14, 2015 Posted October 14, 2015 Yes, I was, perhaps a better way of phrasing my question would have been: "Why is it direct to consumer? surely that can't be a good marketing strategy for something that will surely be very popular." :) If it's a big set exceeding the price of $120, then it's almost certainly a D2C, because it's impressive and has collector's value. It also makes it more sought-after when the only way to buy it is through the source.
Soupperson1 Posted October 14, 2015 Posted October 14, 2015 I don't think many kids will be interested in a 66's bat cave so it wouldn't make to much sense giving it a wide release
Robianco Posted October 14, 2015 Posted October 14, 2015 I don't think many kids will be interested in a 66's bat cave so it wouldn't make to much sense giving it a wide release Well it's appeared in a recent Lego game as a playable level and it's a Batcave. I think it would have enough generic appeal but as an afol and a Batman fan I'm hoping for a very large, comprehensive and suitably expensive set so going the exclusive route makes sense.
8BrickMario Posted October 14, 2015 Posted October 14, 2015 I'm just hoping that all of the figures this wave are excellent, and not missed opportunities. If they 'Cave figures are better versions of the eight in LB3, I'll be overjoyed. And the Cycle Chase set has a lot of potential. Even if kids don't know the source material, I bet they'd love the Batcave. It's more bright and fun than the mainstream DCU, and it's probably going to be a huge playset that kids will love.

I just hope we get Alfred Pennyworth this time, he really should have been in 6860.
psqidexslizer248 Posted October 15, 2015 Posted October 15, 2015 I just hope we get Alfred Pennyworth this time, he really should have been in 6860. Maybe he can be an SDCC exclusive next year. I kid, I kid. I can't see Lego missed out on yet another opportunity to include him.
TheRealDickDastardly Posted October 15, 2015 Posted October 15, 2015 Maybe he can be an SDCC exclusive next year. I kid, I kid. I can't see Lego missed out on yet another opportunity to include him. Was going to pick up all of this years Batman sets at Christmas, but then I realised they will all be out of stock by then and probably retired soon after.. This throws my plans for what to get off.. May have to just go out soon and get the current DC sets.. LEGO is releasing too much awesome stuff atm.
8BrickMario Posted October 15, 2015 Posted October 15, 2015 The problem with Alfred is that I really wanted the comics version. Oh, well. At least it's something.
Falconfan1414 Posted October 15, 2015 Posted October 15, 2015 It is something but it does not scream Alfred like the other one we got. I wonder how many villains we will get in this
