Sir Gareth Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 So the booted version is still exclusive to Jokerland? Can't tell for sure, the glare obscures Batman's legs.
Ultron Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 So the booted version is still exclusive to Jokerland? He has the dual molding in the BvS batmobile.
psqidexslizer248 Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 Can't tell for sure, the glare obscures Batman's legs. So there is still hope. Thank you.
CM4Sci Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 Can't tell for sure, the glare obscures Batman's legs. We've got different catalogs with the same images - he has boots in this set.
psqidexslizer248 Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 He has the dual molding in the BvS batmobile. I meant the Nu52 one. We've got different catalogs with the same images - he has boots in this set. Awesome, boots are starting to finally become more mainstream. Hopefully this'll pave the way for more figures with boots in the future. Thank you.
Numbuh1Nerd Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 Exactly. And to an extent, there are still a good number of kids who do actually know about the old TV show in some shape or form. Not to mention that Batman '66 animated movie that's on the way... That looks like some really crappy bootleg fodder. Not only is the symbol wrong for Batman Beyond, so is the belt. The wings also look nothing like something that Lego would produce. The printing is too sloppy (looks more like magic marker tbh) and the edges are a little too sharp. As for Buccaneer Batman, holy crap! I'm buying that for sure. I'd say we'll get the Bat-beard version since it's much more pirate-y with the cowl part printed on to the head. I hope we see pictures of that soon, though! That's the kinda weird, out-of-left field stuff that I can't resist!
Amazing Bricks Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 (edited) I remember seeing that batman minifigure on ebay two weeks ago. It looked fake to me, but i decided not to post it here. It seems to be real now. Edited October 17, 2015 by amazingbricks
Shawn Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 (edited) That batman figure was also posted to an Irish Auction site and then removed from sale. I think that this is real. I have two additonal images that have been emailed to me. See here. http://minifigpriceg...-and-red-wings/ and here http://www.adverts.i...-gotham/8960181 Not that it means anything, but the guy on this site appears to sell a bunch of Lego and he clearly marks the fakes. this one he also claims is real. Someone else just IM's me that this is HellBat? Is that correct? Thanks! Edited October 17, 2015 by Shawn

Is this for sure an official LEGO minifigure???
psqidexslizer248 Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 Is this for sure an official LEGO minifigure??? Brick Heroes claims it is, and they were the ones who got a hold on the Official BvS WW first, so... Maybe?
Amazing Bricks Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 When I saw it listed on eBay, it said Batman 2016. Now I'm not saying that's confirmation about this, but this must be an early prototype of this minifigure.
EdWebhead Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 It looks really fake to me, like an older torso was painted over. Besides the colors, the details look identical.
psqidexslizer248 Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 If Brick Heroes is right (still not convinced they are or aren't at this point), we'll be seeing a Batman Beyond minifigure, except it won't be an actual Batman Beyonds figure, just inspired by it, and a Dark Knight Joker Nurse, except it isn't the Dark Knight Joker Nurse, it's just inspired by it. Either they've made a mistake or Lego is trying their best to confuse me. Maybe we'll also get a Suicide Squad set, except it won't be a Suicide Squad set, just inspired by it?

Sir Gareth Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 I still think it's fake. - It's an eight-year-old torso print. LEGO would've updated it to match the style of the Batman II/DC Super Heroes minifigures. - The bat emblem's ink is too thick, looks more like paint.
Amazing Bricks Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 (edited) I don't remember, I thought it was fake so I didn't bother looking further in to it. They were different pictures than the ones we've seen today. Now we wait to see if we get this variant of Batman in the cycle chase set. Edited October 17, 2015 by amazingbricks

Also, according to Brick Heroes, the figure has no back printing, which is pretty much unheard for minifigures these days, especially one's in the Super Heroes theme.

I cannot see one? It does not match any of the originals. I also do not see any with a silver belt. Edited October 17, 2015 by Shawn

Shawn Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 (edited) This one: http://alpha.brickli...lor=86#T=C&C=86 It is a whole different color and everything. :) Edited October 17, 2015 by Shawn
Sir Gareth Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 It is a whole different color and everything. :) But, the print's the same. LEGO wouldn't reuse an eight-year-old print.
just2good Posted October 17, 2015 Author Posted October 17, 2015 Wow, now I'm 99% sure it's real. I mean, there's various people who have it and it could easily just be thrown into a set like that Gotham Chase one.

I'm guessing he means a Summer Set.
