Asphalt Posted August 11, 2015 Posted August 11, 2015 (edited) Vindsval frowns slightly at having to hand over the head, he had plans for that head, but then smiles in thanks. It was a pleasure to help those in need Officer. If every you have need of me again, you have but to ask. Vindsval Divides the gold between himself and Throlar, allotting 250 to each of them. Not every religion is as, well, flamboyant in their tributes as yours either." Quote
Asphalt Posted August 12, 2015 Posted August 12, 2015 This is truth, I have seen the decadent softness of the gods of these southern lands. My Mother's Gods are Gods of hard lands and hard people. I attempt to temper that with compassion for those who must rely on me for aid and protection. But, Faith must be observed, and rites followed. It is my way. Quote
Endgame Posted August 12, 2015 Posted August 12, 2015 Good to see you again Sorrow. How did you fare in your venture to the temple. Was your Goddess as welcoming as you would have hoped? "Wasn't my goddess who I was speaking to. It was... someone else. But it went well." Quote

Kintobor Posted August 12, 2015 Author Posted August 12, 2015 After dividing the bounty Vindsval follows ducks through the doorway INTO Wighty's Tool Shed. There was no door, merely a stall under a balcony. The undead man cups his hands and rubs them together shakily. "Welcome, sir, to Wighty's Tool Emporium. Anything pique your interest?" Wighty's Tool Emporium Bedroll (Allows the user to rest and regain health and ether in a safe place.) Costs 5 gold. Shovel (Allows the user to dig the ground in search of a treasure.) Costs 10 gold. Pickaxe (Allows the user to dig through a breakable wall or obstacle.) Costs 20 gold. Magnifying Glass (Allows the user to see trap triggers.) Costs 30 gold. Telescope (Allows the user to see far.) Costs 40 gold. Magic Compass (Allows the user to know the right direction to go.) Costs 50 gold. Althior points to Sorrow. "We've got your Last Wish Powder right here," "Last Wish Powder? So I'm going to be some kind of zombie? Right on, right on. *cough hack cough*" I nod. "Took some tracking down - but we got it. Are... are you ready? To become undead, I mean?" Diane goes into a coughing fit before responding, her voice sounding raspy. "Yup. It either this or die and rot on this spot, and I'd prefer a couple more years to live." Quote
Asphalt Posted August 12, 2015 Posted August 12, 2015 Vindsval looks at the Tools in Wighty's. Fine Wares my small friend. Are your prices firm or would you be willing to haggle with the man who rid your neighborhood of its dark hunter? Quote
K-Nut Posted August 12, 2015 Posted August 12, 2015 "Yup. It either this or die and rot on this spot, and I'd prefer a couple more years to live." "So how do you want this to work? Are just going to wait out the Ether overdose or is one of us going to kill you?" Quote

Are your prices firm or would you be willing to haggle with the man who rid your neighborhood of its dark hunter? Wighty mumbles thinking Vindsval's offer over. "Well... I suppose I can offer a twenty five percent discount on one item you purchase..." "So how do you want this to work? Are just going to wait out the Ether overdose or is one of us going to kill you?" "I don't know, I thought you had all this planned out? If you're going to kill me, make it discreet at least. I don't want to make a scene, you know? *cough hack cough*" Diane seemed a little frustrated at the moment. Quote

K-Nut Posted August 12, 2015 Posted August 12, 2015 "I thought you had this all planned out..." he takes a moment to think it over. "I'll do it. I'll slit her throat. It worked well enough for me," he pulls down his scarf, displaying a large gash across his neck. Quote

Asphalt Posted August 12, 2015 Posted August 12, 2015 I appreciate your offer. I have always been interested in the power of the Magic Compass. I would purchase that, and determine if its powers be divine or infernal. Vindsval Buys a Magic Compass for 37 gold. 352-37= 315. The witch exchanges the gold for the compass and moves to join the discussion with the soon to be undead woman. Gentlemen you frighten the young woman. If you would permit it my dear, I would embrace you into the great sleep, in order for her to begin your next path. You would have but to take several deep breaths and then you would know no more until you arose in your new form. Quote

"Pleasure doing business with ya." He replies in a raspy voice. "What are you talking about with a "great sleep"? I'm looking to be undead, not dead dead." Asphalt Posted August 12, 2015 Posted August 12, 2015 Unless I am mistaken one must first be dead, before one can be undead. We simply leave the method of your passing up to you. Quote
K-Nut Posted August 12, 2015 Posted August 12, 2015 "English, man. English..." "Just lend me the Bifrost blades and we'll get this over with, Vindsval. Let's not let her suffer any more than she has to,"" Quote
Asphalt Posted August 12, 2015 Posted August 12, 2015 (edited) So be it. Wanderer guide this woman to her next path. Vindsval moves so that his massive frame hides the party from the view of prying eyes, removes his Brifrost Blade from its scabbard at his waist, kneels, and drives it with precision and speed into Diane's Heart. Quickly Sorrow, Althior, give this woman the existence she has so desired. Edited August 12, 2015 by Asphalt Quote
