Kintobor Posted September 11, 2015 Author Posted September 11, 2015 Once I get a response from K-Nut, I'll carry along with the Last Chance Party. Should that not happen by tomorrow, I'll allow him to follow you, Duvors. The East Gates Party Battle Order Sorrow vs. Wisp B- Shield (Will-o-Wisp Raised. -1 ether) >Vindsval vs. Spirit of Misery- Crit. (12x2+27=61x4=224/2=122 damage. KO!) Everyone takes 2 damage With a burst of necromantic energy, Sorrow is able to bring back one of the Will-o-Wisps back to serve him. Vindsval, meanwhile, takes one final jab at the Spirit of Misery. It howls and screams in multiple tones, ranges and voices as it's fiery eye diminishes from the cracked crystal ball, like smoke being blown away on the breeze. Although the eyes gaze was no more, the stagnate heat continued broiling the room. One enemy remained. Asphalt Posted September 11, 2015 Posted September 11, 2015 The witch stands back, eyes wide, as the wisp rises from the ground and hovers at Sorrow's side. Never before has he seen the power of the Necromancer at work. Truly the wicked shall rise up against those who wielded them. Perhaps if I step from the fray, the Spirit will have a chance to right the wrongs that is committed against this realm. Vindsval steps back and Casts Healing on Himself from the back row. Quote
K-Nut Posted September 11, 2015 Posted September 11, 2015 Sorry, I've had a busy couple of days. Unfortunately, this will probably be the case until the middle of October, but I'll try my best to update once a day or at least let you know if I can't. Althior stands back. "We'll be back," he says turning on his heels. Before following Throlar, though, he attempts to use Clairvoyance to track down Amber Makepeace. Quote
Duvors Posted September 11, 2015 Posted September 11, 2015 "Righto, come on." Throlar said before leading his companion to the back alley. Quote

No problem. Thanks for the heads up. The bug eyed man nods in approval as the two walk off. Making a gesture, Althior makes an attempt to ask his deity for some amount of guidance in tracking down Amber Makepeace. He's shown vivid images of someplace underground. It's dark, but Althior can make out grimy, deteriorating stone work and rotten wooden beams supporting the structure. He's also shown what appears to be the inside of a house, it's insides decorated lavishly with various items of value. What could it mean? I'll send you guys to the back alley shortly. Quote

Asphalt Posted September 14, 2015 Posted September 14, 2015 Vindsval rolls his shoulder and winces slightly. He reaches up under the edge of his cape and rubs the stump of his arm and the steel disk covering it. How do you Southanders say you enjoy the heat. It makes my bones ache. Let us end this before I and cooked through. He places the Bifrost Blades back in their sheath on his him and draws Vernkenner from its scabbard on his other hip. Hitting them with a stick has worked for you, allow me to try. Vindsval spins Verkenner in his palm and then attacks, sending it flying at the remaining wisp from the back row. Asphalt Posted September 16, 2015 Posted September 16, 2015 Vindsval re-sheathes Verkenner and reaches up to smear the soot from his face. Checking in the process to see if he still has eyebrows. Bloody fiery vermin. All that fighting just to have the two wisps blow themselves out in our faces. At least I was able to smash that globe of a spirit. The sooty giant turns towards the owner of the shop. It would appear my dear lady, that your premises is now free of malignant spirits. Quote
K-Nut Posted September 16, 2015 Posted September 16, 2015 I've been waiting for a picture to interact with before posting anything substantial, but I still want to let you know I'm still here. "Why'd you bring me here, Throlar?" he says in a huff. Quote
Endgame Posted September 17, 2015 Posted September 17, 2015 I wie the sweat off my brow, my hand phasing through the blue aura of my hood, and toss Vindsval an Agni Bomb and myself a Fire Bomb. "Well fought." "Irisia. The spirit is erased. Are you okay?" Quote
Asphalt Posted September 17, 2015 Posted September 17, 2015 (edited) Vindsval catches the volatile jar and stores it away. That could certainly cause one's path to veer. Thank you my friend. He gently pats out a few errant flames with his heavily calloused hand, hoping Irisa wouldn't notice. Madam Irisa, do you have any idea how a spirit of flam could have come to be trapped in your Augury? OOC: Please update Vindsval's stats to reflect his level up. "Ooooh... my aching head... ugh... thank you, gentleman... I'm sorry I couldn't of been much help but that spirit had a good grip on my mind." "Irisia. The spirit is erased. Are you okay?" "Yes, I'll be fine... nothing a good nap won't help..." She looks slightly dazed as she wobbles in her chair, exhausted even. Madam Irisa, do you have any idea how a spirit of flam could have come to be trapped in your Augury? OOC: Please update Vindsval's stats to reflect his level up. QM Note: Fixed. "When I first purchased the crystal ball I was told that it had two spirits inside of it, a Spirit of Misery, and a Spirit of Hope, two entities that would help magnify and concentrate my readings. However, when you live in this volatile place, often times all you have to look upon is debauchery and vice. The Spirit of Misery's powers obviously grew as it fed on the visions I saw, and it became powerful enough to muddle with my predictions, as well as attempt to get out. Thanks to you it should be safe to use for quite awhile. Thank you." Irisa leans back and pulls up a large box. She unlatches the lid and opens it's creaky lid. Inside were a variety of weathered scrolls. -Scroll of Blindness -Scroll of Frailty -Scroll of Confusion -Scroll of Sealing -Scroll of Sleep -Scroll of Weakening "As promised, I'll allow you each to have one of my scrolls. Each one contains a spell that can cause ailments to your foes. I only have one of each, so if you both choose the same one, I can only give it to one of you. With that in mind, take your pick. Also, can you please hand over my crystal ball, Vind?" Irisa holds her hands out to the half giant, looking intent to get her property back. "Because a rat told me about strange noises back here, and I think we've already found their source, good evening to you sir," he said, Turning his attention to the ghost, "what might you be doing here?" "Gah!" The ghost shouts, readying his fists before looking disappointedly at the two. "What luck. Mercenaries. I'm loitering. What do you two be doing here? People armed so heavily usually aren't looking for a chat." QM Note: I'll have an image of the alley shortly. I've been away from my collection and just now have a chance to take pictures. Quote
Asphalt Posted September 18, 2015 Posted September 18, 2015 OOC: does scroll of frailty cause the fragile effect? By all means lady. Vindsval gently hands the Seer her crystal ball. May now the Spirit of Hope guide the paths of those who seek your council. Quote
Kintobor Posted September 18, 2015 Author Posted September 18, 2015 OOC: does scroll of frailty cause the fragile effect? QM Note: Yes, that's what it does. Also, Back Alley Party, you have an image of the Back Alley. Quote

Throlar said, speaking diplomatically, "I'm Throlar Wineghilm, walking public relations disaster. And this is Althior Emorith, amoral prophet-cum-necromancer. We're here looking for a dangerous woman named Amber Makepeace, brunette, pale, wears black and red, usually accompanied by a shadow wraith of some sort. Have you seen her?" Quote
