Duvors Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 Althior puts on his Tin Helmet to conceal his identity. "Very well then," he says in a metallic voice. "Shall we head back to Last Chance then?" "You know, that dog is probably the only thing I'd allow to get away with calling me a midget. Hmm? What? Oh yes, to the Last Chance!" Quote
Asphalt Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 The East Gate Party Waking up abruptly, Vindsval quickly poisons his daggers (Roll of 4, Failure! Roll of 2, Success! -5 ether) and falls back asleep. When the duo wake up again, they find that they've slept until the afternoon, the sun beginning to dip beyond the horizon. Stine remains at his place behind the bar, but a familiar figure seems to have entered the establishment. They both feel much more well rested. "Hey ho, mister necromancer and mister stabby stab! How's it going?" "I hope you enjoy your stay, gentleman." Stine pulls out a tray from underneath the counter. "Can I offer you a complimentary chocolate?" How very kind of you. Do you mind if I take two? Vindsval reaches into the box of candies selecting two Golden Statue Shaped Pieces, deftly peels them from their wrappers and pops them into his fanged mouth. (Consumes two Henry awards, both bonuses to power) Fine confections my friend, fine confections indeed. Before we retired to our rooms you mentioned a deal you had come to with Sorrow regarding some debts owed to you. Could you give me the details as well? Vindsval nods to the young newly undead woman. I am please to see you up and about my lady. Is the unlife all you had hoped it would be? Quote

I am please to see you up and about my lady. Is the unlife all you had hoped it would be? Stine looks confused as he rummages through his basket. "When did we start getting gold ones..." Diane nods in approval, grinning and seeming fascinated by her new state of being. "Yup, everything's going alright so far. It's a little weird, not feeling my pulse anymore. That and I can't really breath in air anymore, but hey, better than being dead, right?" "Keeping your head on your shoulders and your heart in your chest, Diana, I hope?" "For now at least. Um... would cutting off my head keep me alive? You're a necromancer, right? You got an answer for that? If I got impaled, would that kill me?" Diane seemed to have a lot of questions about her new state of being. Stine merely rolled his eyes. The two decide to head out, with Stine wishing them the best in their hunt and Diane cheering them with a raise of her glass. Geoffrey said nothing. Kintobor Posted October 3, 2015 Author Posted October 3, 2015 (Kinto, I equipped my Shield of Invisibility earlier.) I see no such item in your inventory. Either that or I'm going senile. The Temple of Helvetia Party Vindsval walks up to the fountain and kneels to dip a finger into the waters. He looks over to the girl and speaks softly. What is wrong small one? Why do you appear to be so sad, on such a fine clear evening? Vindsval dips his fingers in the cold, but clear water. It seemed to be normal water, but the witch could see various glistening coins laying in it's stony depths. The young girl sniffled as Vindsval approached her. "*sniff* I've-I've lost my bestest fwiend, and I don't know where to find him!" The Residential Area Party "Wighty, sir... I hate to distrub you, but I'm here on behalf of Stie. He says you have some overdue tabs." Wighty looks at Sorrow curiously before seeming to clue things together. "Oh, shoot! I forgot about that! Here, take the money due on my tab and tell Stine it won't happen again." Wighty delivers to Sorrow a small jingling purse with a bony hand. "My tab of seventy gold. That being said, can I interest you in anything before I close up shop?" Duvors Posted October 3, 2015 Posted October 3, 2015 I see no such item in your inventory. Either that or I'm going senile. (I won it in the raffle, and it was kind of out there for everyone to see. So yeah, you're probably going senile. ) Quote
Endgame Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 I accept the gold, happy Wighty was a reasonable man. "No, don't need to buyanything at the moment. Do you know the whereabouts of a man named Frey? Quote

Do you know the whereabouts of a man named Frey? "Fine, fine. I understand." Wighty replies. He gets a jittery look in his eye when Sorrow brings up the name Frey. "I'm sorry, no, generally one doesn't like running into Frey. He apparently only roams the town at night though, and he rushes back to his house before dawn. Sorry, mate." Quote
Endgame Posted October 6, 2015 Posted October 6, 2015 I take special note of Wighty's nervousness. "This task of mine carries a bit of urgency with it. I don't suppose you know where Frey roams at night?" Quote
Asphalt Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 Vindsval's face falls as the small girl breaks down into tears. He gently reaches out and pats her small back gently with his massive forefinger. "There There little one. No need for tears. I have been helping the people of your city, and I promise you I will do everything I can to help you find your friend. But first I must speak to one of the holy men in this temple. But when I am done we will not stop until you are reunited. Does that sound like a good plan? If you stay here, I will come back for you are soon as I am done in the Temple. I swear by my God that this is true." Quote
