Kintobor Posted October 9, 2015 Author Posted October 9, 2015 The Residential Area Party I take special note of Wighty's nervousness. "This task of mine carries a bit of urgency with it. I don't suppose you know where Frey roams at night?" Wighty still sems on edge talking about Frey, packing his stall up at a quicker pace as he speaks between storing his goods. "Uh... well, no, not really. Only rumours. I hear he stumbles his way from the East Gates back to the Residential Districts, during the late hours and that he doesn't like to meander around town." The Temple of Helvetia Party Vindsval's face falls as the small girl breaks down into tears. He gently reaches out and pats her small back gently with his massive forefinger. "There There little one. Please find my friend!" Vindsval attempts to enter the temple but is stopped outside. "Whoa, whoa big guy! Might I ask what business you have with the Temple?" The Residential District Party Am I correct in saying that it's evening for Sorrow as well? "Thank you sir. Sounds like the easiest plan is to wait here for frey to turn up." QM Note: Yes. You and Vindsval left at the same time. I'll have you wait for Frey to show up. "Hey, it's your funeral buddy." Wighty declares as he finishes packing and heads off. The sun sets as Midnight approaches. For a few hours Sorrow waits in the general area, waiting for Frey to show up, but to no luck. Finally, at the end of the Early Hours, a stumbling, sunken eyed man approaches Sorrow. "Gut outta my whay, you... you... do I know you? Aren't chyou that bum that I ran into a few nights ago? Begone! I hafth no use for your presence, you commoner!" The man declares to Sorrow, waving his gilded hook hand around. How would Sorrow respond? The Other Residential District Party <Wise Old Owl! Yes, it's me, the dwarf. Tell me, you didn't happen to see a white woman in black with black hair come down this way did you?> The owl seems to hobble in place, thinking about what he'd seen. "Hoothoothootie hoot hoo! <Hmmm, well, I did see a woman run off here recently, and she did wear black, but I don't quite remember where she went. Although, I do remember seeing someone leave their house looking very similar to the one you describe. Now, which house was it again...>" Where's Her House? Wise Old Owl seems to recall seeing someone leaving a house in the area that resembles the description the party gave. However, he can't remember which house. He does, however, remember the route said person took. Using the description Wise Old Owl relays, can you figure out which house Brana lives in? Figuring out the puzzle correctly will provide the solver with one level of experience. The arrows on the individually coloured squares represent the location of the front door. The top of the map is North. "<She went out the front door and turned a left. At the first intersection she came to, she took a right. She turned right again at the following intersection and came face to face with the rising sun.>" Please PM your answer. You have 24 hours to solve the puzzle. Althior attempts to use Clairvoyance to find the shopgirl Althior receives a brief flash of an image. "Hey, hey, no need for conflict. Here's the thing. Stine says you owe him a bar. I'm just here to collect." "To hell with that! Bugger off, you sod, or I'll personally cut you!" Frey responded, clutching his weapon somewhat lazily. The Temple of Helvetia Party Vindsval nods his head to the man barring his way into the temple. I am here on an urgent errand. I must speak with Monk Carlos imediately. The skeleton crossed his arms and looked Vindsval over skeptically. "Well I'm Carlos, and I'm a priest, not a monk. There's a difference there mate. What can I do for you?" The Other Residential Area Party Correctly solving the problem, Althior gains a level of experience. The owl hoots merrily. "Hoot hoot! <Yes, that's the house! That's where she's heading off to. If you hurry you should be able to catch up to her.>" Althior and Throlar begin to speed off down the streets and alley ways until they come to the house. They find a surprisingly well kept brick building, with a large garden surrounding the front of the house. Multitudes of flowers and various fauna grew about her small lawn despite the arid conditions. In the dinginess of the city, it was surprisingly refreshing to see. Of particular notice was the gardening tools sitting on the porch. The party could see Brana through a window, preparing a late night drink as she took her kettle off her stove. Kintobor Posted October 14, 2015 Author Posted October 14, 2015 Midnight for you guys. So getting to the ratty house would take you to the small hours, and and sleeping would bypass the morning and have you wake up during the midday. K-Nut Posted October 14, 2015 Posted October 14, 2015 And then moving on from the house would take us to the afternoon, so trying to go sleep now would basically eat up half of the third day....
