He takes this opportunity to LOOK around the front area of the house and SEARCHES the barrel to the right of the door. Opening it and looking inside. The barrel seems to be full of various pieces of antiquity and trophies, rather haphazardly shoved in. Vindsval doesn't know there worth, so leaves them for the time being. I knock, and, if no one answers, try the door. Sorrow knocks on the door. No response. He turns the door knob only to find that for once the door is unlocked. With the door now ajar, the party peers inside the old estate. The entire place had been gutted of it's furniture, with the exception of a small table and a rug. None of the candles had been lit, and the place was beginning to collect a layer of dust. Standing in the middle of the room was a familiar face. "Good evening, gentlemen." Quote

Kintobor Posted December 20, 2015 Author Posted December 20, 2015 I blink a couple of times and hang back, unsure why you were here. "And what have you been up to, Silvia?" "Preparing for you. It took my friend a while, but she's found you, and she wants you out of the way before you can meddle any further. Although knowing her I'm certain she'd enjoy seeing some of you again. She spoke fondly of you, Althior." Despite her harsh words, her voice was rather calm. Althior looks for any staircases leading to other floors. There were a few closed doors, but looking up Althior noticed that there was an opening in the ceiling and a railing around it that seemed to be linked to the second floor. Shadowy figures moved about in the darkness. "Oh, well in that case..." he bowed in the direction of Silvia, "Nice to meet you ma'am, or should I say 'Your Holiness'?" "Your Holiness is the preferred nomenclature, sir." Vindsval knuckles is forehead in solute to the Priestess. Was it you who called us here your Holiness? "No, not entirely. Lyudmila still needs to speak with you... I'm just ensuring all of you are." The front door behind the party closes with a loud thud, followed by the sound of several latches locking. Quote

You step from one side of the path to the other while making no progress Priestess. As Sorrow asked, speak plainly. The High Priestess notices Vindsvals motion to his weapons and puts her hands up. "There is no need for violence. Would you honestly strike an unarmed individual, particularly someone of the cloth? My friend, associate, and ally is Amber Makepeace. She returned to town and needed to resume her studies. She's only now managed to catch wind you were in town and sent me to hopefully get you either get onboard or... well, I do know we have room in the cemetery still, despite that room dwindling. "...very well then." She looks up to the second floor, and something stares back at the party. Several glossy pairs of eyes stared back at the party, all looking dull and white washed; except for a single pair that looked more dazed. Dark rims burrowed under a pale woman's eyes, her elegant dress seemingly tattered in various spots. Her hair looked messy and static despite apparent attempts at making it look presentable. She wielded a pointy rapier, seemingly ready to pounce. There was an almost feral aspect to her as she growled at the party. "Grrrr...." "If you wish to speak to the countess, you may. Although I doubt you'll get anything out of her. She was rather uncooperative before hand, but now that she's obedient, we've managed to make her cooperate, although she still seems to latch onto a vampires more aggressive traits." A strange shadow darts across the walls and to the vampire, seemingly lingering over her. "What's it going to be, heroes? It's your choice." Quote
