benderisgreat Posted October 23, 2015 Posted October 23, 2015 Somebody brought up in the TV show topic that a listing for an upcoming LEGO Ninjago activity book confirms that Nadakhan, the sky pirate captain, is a djinn. So it's probably safe to say that he is the four-armed minifigure who uses a ghost tail element, but he's a djinn, not a ghost. Now that explains ghost tail piece and Djinn blades stealing ninjas powers again. Actually it puts almost every piec of next Ninjago wave together, except one thing. Why would Djinn be a pirate captain, since the rest of pirates seem to be normal humans? Quote
Dr.Cogg Posted October 23, 2015 Posted October 23, 2015 (edited) Yes, but usually their evil in stories where their called Djinn. here's their definition https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jinn Edited October 23, 2015 by Dr.Cogg Quote
CM4Sci Posted October 23, 2015 Posted October 23, 2015 So basically a four armed evil genie. That sounds absolutely amazing. Quote
Mandate Posted October 23, 2015 Posted October 23, 2015 I was skeptical of the "wishes into nightmares" thing they're planning, but if we're talking about a genie then that's pretty cool. After last season though... I imagine there's going to be plenty of plot holes and inconsistencies with his, hers or its powers. Can't wait to see the minifig now. Quote
gamejutzu Posted October 23, 2015 Posted October 23, 2015 After last season though... I imagine there's going to be plenty of plot holes and inconsistencies with his, hers or its powers. Nah. By now they're probably aware of all the folks complaining about it. Quote
NinjaJayNuva Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 What if it's the ninja who are trapped in the blade, instead of their power. Also , I believe there must be something to do with Nadakhan about the ninja being wanted. Quote

makoy Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 Wait, in the activity book description they mentioned about an island. What island? Also, who brought Nadakhan in the world? Could it be a reference to the 16 realms? Quote

Not all of the pirates seem to be normal humans. The one we've seen a photo of (from one of the polybags) is, but judging from what CM4S has shared with us, at least one of the pirates (Dogshank, I think) is a bigfig, and another is a Serpentine. Seems like the pirates come from many walks of life. Quote

Yes one of the pirates looked like a serpentine, but the rest look like humans. Quote
8BrickMario Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 So it's a less sea-based PotC crew? I like the sound of Nadakhan, but I wonder which leg-alternative he will use? The smooth genie tail, or the ectoplasmic ghost legs? Quote

Amazing Bricks Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 I want those new ghost legs in a red or orange color. Nadakhan has potential to be a great villain. Quote
Thelegomaster Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 I thought I should leave this here... Quote
CM4Sci Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 Yep, those are them. That's the new shoulderpad piece with a.. scabbard or whatever that sword holding thing is called. Looks like Cole is a ghost! Quote
Cagast Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 Hm, I wonder if he will have transparent or non-transparent head. Quote
Amazing Bricks Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 He's going to be like morro and have the transparent green head most likely. Quote
benderisgreat Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 (edited) That new image is great! Finally some good look at new ninja outfits. It seems leg pieces are the same as Deepstone, but torso is definitely different. The symbols on the torsos definitely looks different from their standart symbols. And Jays shoulder piece looks great! I wondered if it's unique to him or all ninja will be wearing it. Btw great to see that Cole will finally have ghostly face. Lyichir Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 Looks to me more like it might be Sand Green for Cole's head? I mean, I hardly care what color green it is; I'm just glad we're getting a ghost version of Cole at all (since I was worried the story might come up with some excuse to keep using the standard face).
