sheo Posted November 12, 2015 Posted November 12, 2015 At the end of the road, a viaduct rises above the gloomy hilly terrain, leading to the gates of a white castle whose elegant tall towers seem to compete with the very mountain peaks... Quote
KlodsBrik Posted November 13, 2015 Posted November 13, 2015 lovely microbuild. The castle and the upside down tile as a road is a great idea ! Quote
Boromir Posted November 13, 2015 Posted November 13, 2015 That's neat. It reminds me somewhat of Minas Tirith. Quote
neonic Posted November 13, 2015 Posted November 13, 2015 Realy nice Small is size, big in detail Quote
blackie Posted November 13, 2015 Posted November 13, 2015 Definitely very beautiful. The details especially at this size are great. Some of the bricks are only laid down and not studded together, right? (Some of the spires, roofs, the road) Or did you use some trick I just can't figure out right now for the spires? Quote

Was thinking the exact same thing! Interesting how the entire castle is build upside down, but the mountains aren't. The brick you used for the gate is pretty neat. Great build alltogether! Quote
sheo Posted November 13, 2015 Author Posted November 13, 2015 Thanks everyone for the comments! Some of the bricks are only laid down and not studded together, right? (Some of the spires, roofs, the road) Or did you use some trick I just can't figure out right now for the spires? Everything is connected together except for the viaduct tile. Spires are connected using bars/tubes. Quote
peedeejay Posted November 13, 2015 Posted November 13, 2015 Oh, this is very cool! Great part usage on the castle. Quote
Exetrius Posted November 13, 2015 Posted November 13, 2015 (edited) Thanks everyone for the comments! Everything is connected together except for the viaduct tile. Spires are connected using bars/tubes. Oh, now I see! You used the studs with pin holes, with a black pin going through the whole tower, clever! Edited November 13, 2015 by Exetrius Quote
SerenityInFire Posted November 13, 2015 Posted November 13, 2015 That's pretty cool but I was expecting a certain fast food restaurant on the hill. :) Quote
sheo Posted November 14, 2015 Author Posted November 14, 2015 That's pretty cool but I was expecting a certain fast food restaurant on the hill. :) The inhabitants of the castle prefer good food. Quote
LEGO Train 12 Volts Posted November 14, 2015 Posted November 14, 2015 Wow this is absolutely clever! Great MOC! Quote
Gary The Procrastinator Posted November 14, 2015 Posted November 14, 2015 Lovely micro! Besides the great build itself, I like the border to the MOC very much as well. Quote
soccerkid6 Posted November 14, 2015 Posted November 14, 2015 Very efficient use of pieces here! I like how you used white for the castle instead of the standard grey, and the bridge leading to the fortress is a nice touch Quote
InvincibleEagle Posted November 15, 2015 Posted November 15, 2015 I like how you even thought to use technic pins as windows! And, are those lightsaber hilts I see? Quote
sheo Posted November 15, 2015 Author Posted November 15, 2015 Thanks everyone for the kind words! I'm glad you like the castle! And, are those lightsaber hilts I see? Yes, they are. Quote
