I'm excited for the Death Star!

Not me. I bought the current Death Star in 2015 and am not ready to (probably) spend another half a grand CAD (or more) on another one.

I sure hope it's not the same kind of structure, at least. I don't want the new Death Star to have the same shape as the current one. I want to see something along the lines of the old Kenner toys.

Wait, do we still need to know 3 other Constraction figures? I was just looking at PriceVortex and noticed listings for 75122, 75123, and 75124.

Most probably post film release related: spoilerish characters " HEAVY BREATHING"

Grand Moff Tarkin Construct a fig! But will he have a dark tan or dark blue gray uniform? And if so we will all fight to the death over it.

(Btw I dont know anything, im just extapolating the man behind the deathstar project might at least cameo in the film about the death star)

Are the 3 remaining constraction figures confirmed to be Rogue One as well? I was under the assumption that they'd be general Star Wars figures, not specific to Rogue One.

Id buy a new Death Star even though I have the old one. Id just dismantle that and use all those bricks for those MOCs Ive been meaning go do for ages. I wouldnt mind something in the style of the old Kenner Death Star, either. I just hope they update the figures, meaning officers with uodated batman legs, new caps etc etc.

Sooo... I've been meaning to ask; was 'Escape from Space Slug' the SW exclusive micro build for 2016, or will there be another one along the same lines as the micro tatooine and dagobah including minifigs we've seen in the previous two years?

Please someone, give us the good news that there'll be another this year... Endor maybe?

Some companies are still previewing their SDCC exclusives, so Lego could be next in line.

Good point. There's also a slight chance that we'll see something from Star Wars Celebration, even if it's just a 'reveal' of the Constraction figures like last year.

Hopefully everything will be a bit more relaxed this time around. The intense secrecy in terms of merchandise for Episode VII was understandable, yet incredibly frustrating.

Very true. The Disney curtain on all the TFA merchandise actually made it hard to get excited since no one knew quite what was coming out.

I just need something, however small! absolutely loved the new figs we got in the last wave but incredibly excited to see the updated and new exclusive figs included in the new DS.

On a side note, I keep getting excited whenever I get a glimpse of 76060 Dr. Strange's Sanctum Sanctorum... I keep seeing the Portal Beast as a Rathtar!!!

There's an EW.com article about Rogue One this week, and they're revealing (or rather, confirming) the names of several characters. Reportedly Forest Whitaker's character has a past "Star Wars completists" will recognize once they see his name, tho he looks very different from how we knew him... so that could be part of the reason he's not included in the first wave of Rogue One sets. His name might be revealed in the next few minutes, tho!

Good to know, those episodes from Clone Wars were great. Intriguing to know in which kind of set we'll get him, probably a location based one.

It's entirely possible that the city location seen in the Rogue One trailer is in fact Onderon. A small to medium set based on that might be pretty cool.

I just wonder what the chances are of more large Rogue One sets. The merchandising appears to be scaled back a bit, and I wouldn't be surprised if the January 2017 wave only saw Battle Packs or other smaller sets in regards to Rogue One. Even the TFA sets had limited treatment this year.

Looked back at the RO wave sets, that U-Wing is more and more intriguing. The troop cargo bay cannot be seen well on the image, but appears to be HUGE and taking the main bulk of this vehicle. More than enough room to put several standing mini figs ( hopefully the whole main cast ). Weird vehicle some may say, but the thing appears to have a lot going for it....

Have you guys seen the first episode of Freemakers? I'm probably in the minority but I wouldn't mind the Death Star that blows up when Palpatine plays the hologram as the UCS set. I'm hoping it's a display set as opposed to play set

Pffff... This is stating the bloody obvious. BTW: The sky is blue! :tongue:

He wasn't a very far developed character since he 'just' appeared in 4 episodes, even though he had a little arc, so I'm fine with him being included in a movie. I just hope (and believe it to be highly unlikely) that they won't include major characters who are exclusive to the animated shows in any movie, because

a) this sort of thing almost always is not favorable for any actor they cast, because he or she will always have to compete with the established animated version,

and b) more importantly, I want such characters to be further developed by the creative crew of the shows and have them all the freedom to do what they plan to do with them, and not be burdened by having to acknowledge some stupid movie appearance of such a character.

What I wonder now is if any character from RO might make an appearance in REBELS later in the upcoming season 3, and whether that season will have tie-ins into RO or not, and if this will be represented in the winter wave Lego sets...
