LuxorV Posted October 24, 2007 Posted October 24, 2007 Here you have the "How Arthur learnt to fly" vig. Summarizing, Arthur was escaping from his archenemy's Sanctuary of Evil, and the mountain he was on started crumbling down. So he run as fast as he could, with boulders flying all around him. All of a sudden, he stumbled and started falling. In that precise moment, his long-lost case (containing Greek oil) passed just in front of him, coming out of nowhere. He was so surprised and pleased with the fact he had found it, that he forgot hitting the ground, and found himself flying. For precise citation, see Mr. Mandalorian's sign. Pre design... ...and actual vig. More pics here. LuxorV Quote
iamded Posted October 24, 2007 Posted October 24, 2007 (edited) I love the flying boulder effects. ...He was so surprised and pleased with the fact he had found it... I have to say though, he looks neither surprised, nor pleased. However, this is still a great vig, a good representation of one of my favourite scenes from the trilogy (of 5). *y* *y* ~Peace Edited October 24, 2007 by iamded Quote
LuxorV Posted October 24, 2007 Author Posted October 24, 2007 Time for excuses :-| He looks neither surprised, nor pleased for the simple reason that he is looking in another direction, and he has not yet seen the case 8-| How lucky I put the head turned halfway to one side X-D Ok, I admit it. I couldn't find a more suitable head, AND Genki's one of my favs *wub* :-$ LuxorV Quote
goggleson Posted October 24, 2007 Posted October 24, 2007 Like the backstory more than the actual picture...but impressive still! Quote
Shadows Posted October 24, 2007 Posted October 24, 2007 I like that, it really has that feeling of forward momentum! Flying On! *y* Quote
Lt. Col. Thok Posted October 24, 2007 Posted October 24, 2007 I'd have to say that book four was the weirdest book of the trilogy of five. This part, however, struck me as normal, for some reason. Good vig. Quote
Siegfried Posted October 24, 2007 Posted October 24, 2007 I love it. This would have been a good entry... I'd have to say that book four was the weirdest book of the trilogy of five. LuxorV Posted October 24, 2007 Author Posted October 24, 2007 I love it. This would have been a good entry... I'm starting to realize it |-/ :-/ ;-) Btw, if I remembre right (not having the books at hand now) it was a scene from Life, the Universe, and Everything, the third of the trilogy (of 5) 8-| LuxorV Quote
Doctor Sinister Posted October 24, 2007 Posted October 24, 2007 Nice Vig' - this one would have made a better entry, IMO. Dr. S. Quote
