Corydoras Posted January 24, 2016 Posted January 24, 2016 (edited) I’ve always been a fan of Adventurers and the classic Tomb Raider game series, so I decided to try and build something reminiscent of the Indian episode from TR3 or Angkor Wat prologue from TR4. The result is a lost temple somewhere in the jungle of Southeast Asia, a temple where a bloodthirsty goddess used to be worshipped. Will the famous archaeologist Clara Roft manage to snatch the diamond the goddess guards and escape her wrath? I used up almost all basic pieces (bricks, modified bricks) in DBG I got in my collecion. No working traps trademark for both Adventurers and the TR series, I’m afraid, but I felt their inclusion would disturb the overall flow of this fairly small model. The center piece with Kali’s throne and the diamond slides in and out. Iria Posted January 24, 2016 Posted January 24, 2016 Wonderful MOC! You've captured the jungle-temple feel very well. It immediately made me think of the temples of SouthEast Asia. Quote
Actor Builder Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 This looks great! I've never played the game, but it's a neat temple! Quote
azog Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 I LOVE THE ORIGINAL TOMB RAIDER GAMES! THIS MOC IS PERFECT GREAT JOB! Quote
mechamike Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 Nice!, the use of the green snake as vine and the small golden statue at the altar is the details i like the most, but the building feels very Ankor Vat.. Quote
Exetrius Posted January 26, 2016 Posted January 26, 2016 Fantastic detail all around, wow! Keep up the good work! Quote
Corydoras Posted January 26, 2016 Author Posted January 26, 2016 Thank you for the positive feedback! This is pretty much my first Adventurers MOC after coming out of the Dark Age and I'm happy with how it turned out. Quote
