Duncan Young Posted July 11, 2016 Posted July 11, 2016 Is this an official lego press release? I don't think so, I think it's just the leaks as I'm sure it mentioned Sci at the top of the article Quote
Anonknee Muss Posted July 11, 2016 Posted July 11, 2016 I don't think so, I think it's just the leaks as I'm sure it mentioned Sci at the top of the article I thought that but was unsure, not long now Quote
Jarreth2 Posted July 11, 2016 Posted July 11, 2016 (edited) Wonder if there's a way that Lego could make Tink's wings so they attach on the legs like Donald / Daisy's tail piece and the Cheshire Cat tail .. that way it wouldn't affect the neck ? Edited July 11, 2016 by Jarreth2 Quote
Plummy Posted July 11, 2016 Posted July 11, 2016 I thought that but was unsure, not long now Release should be around 9am ET. Quote
Anonknee Muss Posted July 11, 2016 Posted July 11, 2016 Release should be around 9am ET. Is "ET" American time? Because if it is then the press release will be be about 2:00pm or 3:00pm. The time for me now is 12:00pm and still no press release. Wonder if there's a way that Lego could make Tink's wings so they attach on the legs like Donald / Daisy's tail piece and the Cheshire Cat tail .. that way it wouldn't affect the neck ? Lego could do that but it would look too ugly or would it? Interesting thought actually Quote

Jarreth2 Posted July 11, 2016 Posted July 11, 2016 I'm surprised how good the Donald / Daisy tail pieces look and Cheshire Cat too .. they don't intrude on the look of the figure .. I think it might look better that it being round her neck ?? Might have to get a couple of the fairies from series 8 and see if there are any mod options ? Quote
Blondie-Wan Posted July 11, 2016 Posted July 11, 2016 I don't see anything wrong with the wings as they are. Quote

They are absolutely fine Quote
BatmanFanboy Posted July 11, 2016 Posted July 11, 2016 so what minifigures will be released in this set. the only new one I see Tinkerbell and she looks good. I hope we get Goofy and some of the other disney characters like Cinderella after all it is her castle. I hope for Tron and Wreck it Ralph minifigures since those are my two favorite Disney movies. but how many minifigures will come in this set? Quote
Jarreth2 Posted July 11, 2016 Posted July 11, 2016 At the moment it's just 5 . Mickey, Minnie and Daisy are new designs .. Donald is the same ( we think ) and Tink is new Quote

gedren_y Posted July 11, 2016 Posted July 11, 2016 That's not the press release, those are just the leaked pics That link was already posted, and a mod had to remove it. I removed the link myself. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ There is so much to be desired about this set, but I don't build display pieces. The design elements, though, are great ideas for MOCs. In any event, the volume of parts may make the purchase worth the price, if I could afford it. Once this is on the Lego Shop@Home site, I'll be looking for the digital instructions. Quote
Brickity Posted July 11, 2016 Posted July 11, 2016 Could someone point all the movie references for me, please? Quote
