Amazing Bricks Posted July 11, 2016 Posted July 11, 2016 Mickey has that type of cloth material that scarlet witch used in the civil war sets for the legs. It's a different shapes of course, but it's a nice touch. I wish we got this Mickey in the CMF line. Quote

It's the tails of his waistcoat. Edited July 11, 2016 by strangely Quote

Bricksnaps Posted July 11, 2016 Posted July 11, 2016 So exciting. I hope and wonder at the same time if this could be the start of a series of exceptional Disney castles. What a lone up that could/would be. Everyone stop whining about minifigs. Wonderful set Great pricing ( sure it's a lot of money?m, but Lego provides many other options for sets that are less money) I am happy to pay this money for a wonderfully designed and executed set. I don't want to pay more for a ton of minifigs. Quote
Anonknee Muss Posted July 11, 2016 Posted July 11, 2016 I told my mum about this set and she doesn't want to spend £289.99 on lego all well, I might brick link the minifigures Quote

strangely Posted July 11, 2016 Posted July 11, 2016 (edited) You know what that means then. Indeed, much merry making and happiness over in the DC/LBM thread. So many people will have the Alfred they've been waiting for. Edited July 11, 2016 by strangely Quote

Amazing Bricks Posted July 11, 2016 Posted July 11, 2016 What does that mean? Alfred confirmed in the Lego batman movie sets. Anyways, love the set. I'm just not going to get it. Quote

Nerd-with-a-Pencil Posted July 11, 2016 Posted July 11, 2016 I wonder how much that suited Mickey will cost... I love the set, but there is no way in hades I will ever begin to afford it. Quote
Kalhiki Posted July 11, 2016 Posted July 11, 2016 The Kingdom Hearts fan in me is screaming at me to get this. Kingdom Hearts is my biggest tie to an interest in Disney. It's very cool. Absolutely love picking out the references in all the rooms to Disney films. Very much a Disney Castle. Kinda want a Maleficent Dragon to terrorize it... But really? Still no Goofy? I understand Tinkerbell's inclusion, but I think I'd have preferred Goofy. And/or Pluto. Who knows if I'll get this. Pretty expensive. But it does look phenomenal. Quote
Brickity Posted July 11, 2016 Posted July 11, 2016 The movie references are great, but I still can't get over how small the rooms are :/ But I know that regardless, if I have the money I will buy it so... Quote
Anonknee Muss Posted July 11, 2016 Posted July 11, 2016 Any minifigures we didn't get, I hope we get in the Disney CMF Series 2! Quote
Robianco Posted July 11, 2016 Posted July 11, 2016 It's a beautiful build but every time I look at it I wonder how easy it would be to mod it to turn it into Hogwarts. I know that might be sacrilege on such a monumental set but with just a change of roof colour and some walls it could work very well. Quote

Jarreth2 Posted July 11, 2016 Posted July 11, 2016 I know we all have our opinions on what we did or didn't get included with this set, but it certainly is a shame that there were no figures in Series 1 that we can put in the rooms ( just realised apart from Aladdin and Genie ) ! But Belle or Cinderella or just someone else that we could have used in this right away ! I've been promised it already as I bought my other half Ghostbusters HQ for Christmas .. before I'd heard this was in the pipeline .. I didn't even know about series 1 then .. and when I knew this was coming dropped loads of hints and was told I could have it .. yay ! Quick question .. I've seen a few times it's a Lego Exclusive .. does this mean it's only available from Lego direct or Lego stores ? Thanks ^_^ Quote

Thanks ^_^ Not always, some D2C sets make it to toysrus. Of course, it takes a couple of months after, but it's possible. The arkham asylum and Simpson's house are good examples of that. Quote
Anonknee Muss Posted July 11, 2016 Posted July 11, 2016 Maleficent has a room. Really which one? Quote
Robianco Posted July 11, 2016 Posted July 11, 2016 I'd kind of assume it's the Spinning Wheel room although it's also Aurora's room. Quote
