Amazing Bricks Posted April 4, 2016 Posted April 4, 2016 Will the other CMF series still be running along with this? What do you mean? Like being released with the upcoming series 16? This is due out in May and it will be the new minifigure series until September. Quote
AmperZand Posted April 4, 2016 Posted April 4, 2016 Isnt whitefang going to make a review? Fangy, We love you! Don't abandon us in our hour of need. The Minifigure Addicts Will the other CMF series still be running along with this? German footballers will be released next and then later in the year we'll be getting a regular series of CMFs. Quote
x105Black Posted April 5, 2016 Posted April 5, 2016 Who cares about reusability? They're not supposed to be reused. I care quite a bit about reusability. In fact, it's a primary concern for me whenever I see a new set or minifigure. LEGO is supposed to be reused. Quote
Brickity Posted April 5, 2016 Posted April 5, 2016 I really hope these come to Mexico. I mean, all series except the first one and the UK ones have been sold here, but I contacted LEGO and I got a weird response so I'm starting to doubt. Quote
BrickFit26 Posted April 5, 2016 Posted April 5, 2016 Those tail pieces on Donald & Daisy are perfect. Well done LEGO Quote
Ultron Posted April 5, 2016 Posted April 5, 2016 Donald has quickly turned into one of my favorite characters in this series. Daisy is alright, I just feel like a closed-beak smile would be a better look for her. Of course, saving money on molds is important though. Quote
Cammo Posted April 5, 2016 Posted April 5, 2016 I wonder if they'll do animal themed movies... The Lion King, Jungle Book, Finding Nemo, The Aristocats, Dumbo, 101 Dalmatians, Bambi ... Luckily they already made figures from my top favourite Disney/Pixar Movies: Aladdin & Toy Story Quote
Etzel Posted April 5, 2016 Posted April 5, 2016 Surprisingly fair distribution in this wave, very equal. Although that being said, I don't know why anyone would want to buy a whole box--considering how specific each character is. You split a box with two fellow AFOLs of course! That's why the equal distribution for this series is so great, much less hassle about the remaining minifigs that no one wants doubles of. Quote
Falconfan1414 Posted April 5, 2016 Posted April 5, 2016 They have the break down per box out it appears Quote

LEGO is supposed to be reused. Overall, yes. But the minifigure parts are intended to stay to represent who they are. Quote
CM4Sci Posted April 5, 2016 Posted April 5, 2016 Would the duck tail piece work for the Chicken Suit guy? Quote
K_Tiger Posted April 5, 2016 Posted April 5, 2016 Would it be accurate? No. Would it be interesting? Sure. Quote
x105Black Posted April 5, 2016 Posted April 5, 2016 Overall, yes. But the minifigure parts are intended to stay to represent who they are. They are intended to both create the intended character as well as become something new through the use of your imagination. Quote
Tech Artist Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 They are intended to both create the intended character as well as become something new through the use of your imagination. Isn't that why Lego was founded? To use your imagination and build your own worlds or your favorite worlds? Wether it's with official sets or MOCs? All Lego is reusable. It's how you reuse it that matters. If you want to keep it the way you bought it, go for it. If you want to put it in an MOC or MOD, go for it. Quote
Robert8 Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 About reusability, I don't think they can reuse the pieces based on specific licensed characters, like Maleficent's horns piece That would be like reusing Darth Vader's helmet outside the Star Wars license. It's impossible. The new skirt piece will be reused for sure, but the new hairpieces..... I don't think so. Quote
telaruhn Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 (edited) Uhh... I think I just saw Patty's head being used in a MOC. Granted it was the back of it, as it was being used as a plant, but it's a use that I would have never thought of. In relation to this series, I'm sure someone will come up with a way to use these new heads in interesting ways, even if it only is for custom figures. You're still reusing the parts. Love the idea to give Donald's tail to the Chicken Suit Guy! Edited April 6, 2016 by telaruhn Quote

makoy Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 Would the duck tail piece work for the Chicken Suit guy? My interest on Donald Duck increased ten folds because of this idea! Quote
Robert8 Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 The Chicken Suit Guy was just re-released some weeks ago... Coincidence? ............ ........... ........... Quote
MAB Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 Where did you see this? It's on the front page of Eurobricks ... Quote
telaruhn Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 It's on the front page of Eurobricks ... That must've just happened. But it's the Moby Dick MOC and it's actually Selma's hair, not Patty's, but still... Quote
