MagPiesRUs Posted December 8, 2007 Posted December 8, 2007 Ok, here's my MOC on the Battle of Thermopylae: Basically, around 300 Spartans and 6,000 other Greeks defended a narrow pass against a huge army of Persians under Xerxes. The Greeks fought well, and killed many Persians. A Greek traitor revealed a way around the mountains to attack the Greeks from behind. the Greeks found this out and were ordered to retreat. King Leonidas of Sparta stayed behind with the Spartans and the Thespians to let the rest of the army escape. They made a final stand against the countless Persian soldiers, continuing to cut down their foes, but in the end, were all killed. The Persians had won, but at a terrible cost. They had been held off long enough for the Greeks to gather up an army, which would drive the Persians out over the next few years. The Greeks wait in their phalanx: The Persians charge: The two armies collide: Chaos ensues: Two Spartans make conversation while killing some Persians: King Leonidas: Feedback appreciated *sweet* *y* Quote
Asuka Posted December 8, 2007 Posted December 8, 2007 A very 'lively' and chaotic battle scene indeed, with a pretty cool and shiny king Leonidas! *y* Quote
Axle Posted December 8, 2007 Posted December 8, 2007 What a mess! :-P Great job, but why is there a Spartan head in picture 3 on the floor? I thought they unstoppable. :-P I like how you did their sheilds. Quote
