kabel Posted June 18, 2016 Posted June 18, 2016 [a moc that might explain my current inactivity] it had been weeks if not months since Renato had seen any humans besides his remaining two companions out here in this crazy jungle. He was on the brink of mental breakdown not knowing what to do anymore. Once they must have had a reason why they had ventured that far into the unknown, but whatever it was, they had forgotten about it. Was it some treasure? gold? rubies? ancient civilizations? ... it didn't matter anymore. All they were stille hoping for was to leave this terrible place. Despite his mental weakness, Renato was still in a somewhat decent physical state. This was partially due to his ability to always finde something to eat for himself and his companions. But mostly his every day bathing and showering under waterfalls was what kept him clean and healthy. But how much longer would they be able to endure all of this? The jungle was definetely not the place that gave you much time once you had lost your mind ... Quote
TitusV Posted June 18, 2016 Posted June 18, 2016 Awesome build, I love the vegetation and the even better waterfall! I also love the story, and I saw the white in he last image Quote
blackdeathgr Posted June 18, 2016 Posted June 18, 2016 Great foliage and splashing water!! And i bet that skellie is an omen bearing ill news... Quote
Captain Braunsfeld Posted June 18, 2016 Posted June 18, 2016 Time for a swim? Nice waterfall - yet the story is somewhat disturbing... I hope that things will turn out for the better Quote
Garmadon Posted June 18, 2016 Posted June 18, 2016 Excellent build, kabel, lovely waterfall, and great landscaping as well! Looking forward to their further adventures too, any chance of them stumbling across a certain fountain? Great job! Oh, but my one nitpick would be that I would love to have an overview pic for this! Elostirion Posted June 20, 2016 Posted June 20, 2016 The waterfall is really well done, as is the vegetation. Great to see the (confusing, I have to admit) story of the Viceroy evolve further. Quote
Capt Wolf Posted June 20, 2016 Posted June 20, 2016 Great build! As everyone has already noted, the waterfall and vegetation are spectacular. I anxiously await the next installment of the story to learn what happens to the viceroy. Quote
kabel Posted June 20, 2016 Author Posted June 20, 2016 confusing, I have to admit well, Renato used to be one of the early explorers but was keen on marrying the King's daughter himself. However, after he got the news that the King had given his daughter to someone else, he was so mad that he went eploring again, especially after hearing the rumors of the fountain of youth ... thanks for the positive comments lads! I basically had to build something to get back into the mocing mode after stress at work had knocked me out for quite a few weeks. So don't take the story too serious ... Quote
Kai NRG Posted June 20, 2016 Posted June 20, 2016 Great jungle scene kabel, love that waterfall! Quote
kabel Posted June 22, 2016 Author Posted June 22, 2016 Thanks Kai! I've actually used the waterfall technique before but not with snot rocks. But it's definetely better this way. @Garm: here's the pic you've asked for: Quote
Garmadon Posted June 22, 2016 Posted June 22, 2016 Thanks for the overview, kabel! Lovely the colors on this build! Excellent photography as well! Quote
Ayrlego Posted June 23, 2016 Posted June 23, 2016 Wow! A stunningly beautiful build Kabel - that has to be one of the best waterfalls I've seen. The foliage is great as well! Quote
Captain Dee Posted July 30, 2016 Posted July 30, 2016 Those men may be lost, but that jungle looks rather inviting anyway. The vegetation and rocks look lovely but the waterfall is just fantastic. It's a beautiful setting. Quote
