SpiderJazz Posted August 24, 2016 Posted August 24, 2016 All Whisperer said is that Ms. Marvel's arms are new pieces, longer than he expected. Can you confirm that information? Are you able to see the new mold also? Quote
rob-ot5000 Posted August 24, 2016 Posted August 24, 2016 Someone said something about new arm-pieces to SIMULATE her stretchiness, but no-one in the know said anything about ACTUAL stretchy arm pieces. That's what I read, anyhow. SOMEONE WHO KNOWS SOMETHING, feel free to correct me. Quote

Winter Soldier Posted August 24, 2016 Posted August 24, 2016 All Whisperer said is that Ms. Marvel's arms are new pieces, longer than he expected. Well it's definitely a new piece, it could possibly stretch, but that hasn't been confirmed yet. Is it that what the whisperer actually said? Quote
Sir Gareth Posted August 24, 2016 Posted August 24, 2016 (edited) ...they could stretch...isn't that what Whisperer actually said? All Whisperer said is that Ms. Marvel's arms are new pieces, longer than he expected. Where's the miscommunication occurring? Edited August 24, 2016 by Sir Gareth Quote
Battlinpanther Posted August 24, 2016 Posted August 24, 2016 Ms. Marvel will obviously have accordion arms. Quote
Actor Builder Posted August 24, 2016 Posted August 24, 2016 Ms. Marvel will obviously have accordion arms. I was picturing a telescoping mechanism, but this idea is way cooler and way less convenient, so I'm going with this one. Quote
Amazing Bricks Posted August 25, 2016 Posted August 25, 2016 I'm sure they'll make her have about three different arm positions you can switch out. Quote

Amazing Bricks Posted August 25, 2016 Posted August 25, 2016 Is that confirmed? No, just my assumption. Quote
CM4Sci Posted August 25, 2016 Posted August 25, 2016 I'm sure they'll make her have about three different arm positions you can switch out. No need for that when you'll be able to make all the poses you want Quote
Amazing Bricks Posted August 25, 2016 Posted August 25, 2016 No need for that when you'll be able to make all the poses you want Ah ;) Quote
Bricky Dee Williams Posted August 25, 2016 Posted August 25, 2016 No need for that when you'll be able to make all the poses you want Sweet!!! New plastic used? Quote
Actor Builder Posted August 25, 2016 Posted August 25, 2016 Are they redesigning the minifigure to be like those "Crazy Arms" customs that I think are kind of cool, but am a purist so I don't use? Quote
yeoldmilkshake Posted August 25, 2016 Posted August 25, 2016 I think what he means is they're brick built. You'll be able to 'make' all the poses. I don't think LEGO is making stretchy LEGO pieces anytime soono - but who knows... Maybe it'll come with a bunch of little bricks that you can make whatever pose you want with. Quote
SpiderJazz Posted August 25, 2016 Posted August 25, 2016 Wondering what it's gonna be. New mold would make sense. Quote
GoldenNinja3000 Posted August 25, 2016 Posted August 25, 2016 Wondering what it's gonna be. New mold would make sense. I think it's going to be a new stretchy rubber piece but one that looks similar to the normal arms. I doubt her arms will be brick built because that wouldn't fit with the style of other minifigures. Also, does the new mold mean we might get Mr. Fantastic next summer? Quote
LegoMcBoss2004 Posted August 25, 2016 Posted August 25, 2016 Oh I highly doubt we will get Mr. Fantastic. I don't know anything but I doubt it. Quote
rob-ot5000 Posted August 25, 2016 Posted August 25, 2016 Oh I highly doubt we will get Mr. Fantastic. I don't know anything but I doubt it. I really want him, so we won't get him As for the new arms, I imagine HawkLord is on point. Like pipe-cleaners, they'll have a poseable wire inside, but instead of fuzzy coating, they'll have a rubbery exterior. That would definitely be my choice. But who knows?? Quote
IMBATMAN Posted August 25, 2016 Posted August 25, 2016 So for Kamala are we just getting posable arms and not posable legs? Quote
LegoMcBoss2004 Posted August 25, 2016 Posted August 25, 2016 How will it stand properly without like sticking the arms up? Quote
getbusybrickin Posted August 26, 2016 Posted August 26, 2016 (edited) So for Kamala are we just getting posable arms and not posable legs? I wouldn't stretch your luck, we already have information on a pretty interesting new mold already so I'm guessing the legs stay the same as normal minifigure legs. But what do I know? (Not really anything.)As for the actual information about the arms, I am skeptical about rubber, mailable arms but I could see modular arms being a reality. I don't know thought, this all just seems so unreal to me. Edited August 26, 2016 by getbusybrickin Quote
