I prefer the look of the first suit, but I think it might translate poorly onto a Minifigure. The second suit looks great as well, and I think it may look better on a figure.

However the robbers look, they are probably going to be the big draw of the set. If Spiderman is the same in both sets, then those robbers will have to look really good in order for us to buy the set. Of course the build could look good, but it's all about the minifigures.

Anyone noticed that they reduced the amount of Marvel sets for 2017 to focus on DC and The Lego Batman Movie? There are only 3 2017 Marvel sets coming out for the Winter Wave

It's more than we got last year. Marvel had only the Avenjet and Iron Skull sets last Winter wave.

It's not been confirmed that Spidey has the same suit for both sets has it? Because if not I think Spidey will Only come with dual molded legs, in the smaller set so that more people will buy the set, or they could do it the other way round.

If anything, they reduced the amount of DC sets to focus on TLBM. If you're just looking at the Super Heroes theme proper, Marvel has twice as many sets as DC in 2017.

2017 is also the first year Marvel Studios has three movies coming out, so they probably don't want to overcrowd the market.

It's more the Marvel stuff is largely launching off cycle in order to capitalize on movie synergy. GotG was a huge Lego seller, so they will be focused there. as that IP has huge synergy with Lego. Moreso than most other Super Heroe properties thanks to it sspace/spaceship themes. Similarly they will be focusing on The Lego Batman Movie not simply because they have a piece of it, but because it is pure synergy to their product line. They can make and sell everything that you see on screen. No need for iron Man vs a Hobo in a Golf Cart. No need for the Amazing Spider Trike vs Jamie Fox. What we have seen announced for Marvel is mainly the off cycle filler stuff. Similar to the role the Ultimate Spider-Man sets play between movies.

Not much at this point.  Think we only know the names of two of the three supposed sets.  Set 76079 is called "Ayesha's Revenge" and 76080 is named "Ravager Attack."

Just a heads up, we could be seeing the Guardians of the Galaxy 2 sets in the next few weeks. For the past two years the March release Marvel sets have leaked mid-December from the German retailer catalogue. In 2014 the Age of Ultron sets leaked on December 15th, and last year the Civil War sets leaked on December 17th. So hopefully not too much longer!

When will LEGO 2017 Winter catalog appear? Because: When new MARVEL movie arrives in May, sets are released in March. And then we can see that sets in Winter catalog.

My Mr Fantastic with iron wires in arms is a so fun toy, it's a shame if we can't do the same with her.. ..

Am I correct in presuming that even if you removed Kamala's weird noodle arms, you couldn't install regular arms because the torso's socket is the wrong shape? Or is there some tiny chance that the Lego designers were kind to us and gave the new torso piece both functionalities?

This whole thing is making me very tempted to break my aversion to knockoff figures.

Wait about 15 days, mid-December will be the time.

Also isn't anyone just as thirsty for Ragnarok and Homecoming news now as i am? Seriously i want to know so much more about the sets! But pictures probably won't be coming around until April or May or something, expecting they won't show a thing at Toy Fair (Probably the Gotg sets though).

I see we all have so much questions as well? But why can't the person who has seen the pictures answer these? (Assuming it's not Delta Customs, who was kind enough to share them).
