Captain Braunsfeld Posted October 7, 2016 Posted October 7, 2016 The shocking news about impending war with Oleon hit Pontelli. Within minutes the city was in uproar, the streets filled with citizens upset by the King's plans. All of Pontelli's citizens joined a pro-Oleon demonstration. They carried Oleon and Eslandolean flags and shouted: "We want peace!" The military did not interfere, nor did the Mayor of Pontelli - they had all joined the demonstration against King Fernando. Pontelli was no longer under the King's control. [First Speaker] That King is crazy. He is not following the plan. Stop the payments to King Fernando and call back our ambassador. [Second Speaker] It has been done. [First Speaker] .. and what about some rumours that King Fernando is broke and cannot pay his troops? [Second Speaker] I'll check what can be done. C&C welcome! Capt Wolf Posted October 7, 2016 Posted October 7, 2016 Very good! The people of Eslandola need to make their opinions known. I never knew Pontelli had such a picturesque waterfront. I like the seawall and the building on the far left. Nice brick-build rowboat as well. Quote
Kwatchi Posted October 7, 2016 Posted October 7, 2016 I love your idea for the harbour wall. It was the perfect use for those large stone wedge bricks in my mind. As for all these ongoing story arcs (Private Co. war versus Mardier; Mad King against Oleon; and now Revolution in Pontelli) has me wondering if Eslandola is not the most drama filled nation in Lego history. You know something is amiss when a pirate-ish faction seems more stable by comparison. Personally I blame too much disposable income. Very entertaining to watch from the outside of course. Quote
Elostirion Posted October 7, 2016 Posted October 7, 2016 Looks absolutely fantastic, I love Pontelli's style more and more every day! Perfect! Quote
Tezclatipoca Posted October 7, 2016 Posted October 7, 2016 Nice port side. I like the use of those big rock walls ! Good to see that Pontelli is not following our king "madness". Quote
Garmadon Posted October 7, 2016 Posted October 7, 2016 I have to agree with the others - great use of the rock wall pieces, Captain B, and very nice port scene here! The houses are quite nice, especially the awesome fort on one side and the last house on the other! And what will the King think when he hears all of this?! 39 minutes ago, Kwatchi said: As for all these ongoing story arcs (Private Co. war versus Mardier; Mad King against Oleon; and now Revolution in Pontelli) has me wondering if Eslandola is not the most drama filled nation in Lego history. With that out of my system, very nice waterfront Captain B! The colors are great and the tall, thin houses have a really unique look about them that has something distinctly Pontelli-ish! Quote

That is a waterfront I have been working on for quite a while now - without being really happy with it... 21 hours ago, Kwatchi said: I love your idea for the harbour wall. Ok, I'll build some pirate stuff next time again. 21 hours ago, Elostirion said: Looks absolutely fantastic, I love Pontelli's style more and more every day! Perfect! There is little other use for those big rock walls, is there? 21 hours ago, Garmadon said: I have to agree with the others - great use of the rock wall pieces, Captain B, and very nice port scene here!
