Tezclatipoca Posted October 10, 2016 Posted October 10, 2016 (edited) Hello ! Here is finally my fresh new activity on Brethren of the Brick Seas ! I will tell you some little brief stories or tales taking place in the BOBs world. All the stuff I am telling is to be taken carefully as this is not the official Lore of the game. Game that I am letting to others to develop. I will just tell some little nice stories I always wanted to do but never find the time to. The buildings that will be created on these stories are not meant to be used in the EGS of the official game, and if someone (anyone, even if from the leading staff) wants to use them; Please to be kind enough to ask me before by PM. Thanks ! This condition is the only thing I am posing. I hope it is cristal clear. Now, Let's begin the story ! Eslandola at war ? Non-sense my dear ! Take an apple and relax ! In Terelli, the Green capital, the New Discoveries of the last few years have been turn to sour. The Political and Diplomatical situation had became very tense and even ancient trade partners began to worry. It was whispered that the Trade Companies launched a war towards Mardier; The Great Old Empire, and it was muttered that the King Had turn mad and claimed Oleon Throne ! In order to calm down the too warm spirits; Don Diego De la Verdad, the Great Lord Chanceller of El Palacio de Oro (The Golden Palace), The King Summer Palace in Terelli, decided to open a great meeting with the current Eslandolan trade partners. He welcomed personnally the Delegations from all the countries. A fact to be noted is that the Oleon and Corrington representants were ready to shake hands ! The Juniper war was not so vivid in the spirits of those nations. A good sign or is it not ? Thought the Chanceller. He hadn't had the time to digress on that as the Namerian Delegation entered; just followed by some "Private" partners. - Ah welcome ! Welcome Lord Van Gelluck ! Said Don De la Verdad to the Namere Ambassador. - Nice to see you my Dear. Answered the Namerian with a north accent. I thought it was not time to welcome us as I understand your country is at war ?! He added. - Eslandola at war ? Non-sense my dear ! Take an apple and relax ! Clamed Don Diego de la Verdad louder to be well heard. And The two men entered in an animated debate like they always do. This time was not so bad for Eslandola business after all... Spoiler Some bonus pictures of the Delegations and of the building empty : Of course, Comments and Criticisms are very welcome. Thanks ! Maxim I Posted October 10, 2016 Posted October 10, 2016 Well, that is a very beautifull building from you Faladrin!!! Great job :D Quote
Tezclatipoca Posted October 10, 2016 Author Posted October 10, 2016 Thank you very much. I am thinking in putting it in my display for Brickmania. If I can transport it ! This build was supposed to show my reaction concerning the Eslandola actions, but since I am not part of the EGS I preferred turning it into an innocent little story. Quote
TitusV Posted October 10, 2016 Posted October 10, 2016 It's an absolute pity you won't be active anymore, sine you've improved a lot over time! Quote
Elostirion Posted October 10, 2016 Posted October 10, 2016 What a pretty facade, and so much action going on inside - fantastic work! Quote
blackdeathgr Posted October 10, 2016 Posted October 10, 2016 Nice one! Distinctly your style! And the delegations are pure fun too But it would be even prettier if you would continue playing BoBS the way it was initially designed (EGS and all) . After all the apples DO generate some wealth! Quote
Kai NRG Posted October 10, 2016 Posted October 10, 2016 Sorry to hear that you've dropped out of the EGS, but elated to see such a great build from you! This is probably my favorite of yours, the different shades of green look just great and I'm amazed at how well the yellow windows blend in! Neat interior as well! Quote
Legostone Posted October 10, 2016 Posted October 10, 2016 I'm not sure why, but I must say I find those doors absulutely fascinating. Open them and they close other doors, and the other way around. I can't think of a good wording, but I think its fantastic (have I noted that I get stuck on random details often?). The other parts of the build are great too, especially the facade, but the left sidewall could use some more decoration. Maybe some proper leaves instead of green plates? For the other parts - I'm going to quickly mention the typical apples and not start repeating others ;) Great build! Quote
Mike S Posted October 11, 2016 Posted October 11, 2016 There are some really great details here! Nice build! Quote
Tezclatipoca Posted October 11, 2016 Author Posted October 11, 2016 Thank you very much guys ! I am happy you like the build. And Legostone, great you noticed the double door trick ! my daughter is fond of it (she is 4) and always want to open and close it ! Quote
Bregir Posted October 11, 2016 Posted October 11, 2016 Lovely facade, Faladrin, and very vibrant interior! I agree with Legostone that the door arrangement is really cool, although I can imagine slapstick comedy, trying to close all doors on a cold day... Great work and good to see the great powers are still meeting in friendly settings! Quote
Garmadon Posted October 11, 2016 Posted October 11, 2016 Great build, Faladrin, and great to see that you're still building here! The different delegations are very cool, and I agree that the double door trick is very clever! Keep it up! Quote
Capt Wolf Posted October 11, 2016 Posted October 11, 2016 I had missed the double door trick. Very clever! I will steal borrow it at some point in the future! Quote
