BOBs Brief Stories 03 : Oleon Soldiers seen in Berelli

It seemed Oleon sent out a recon team in Berelli, the island of the Ténotclaxcans. To be sure of this rumour, King Azuma sent scouts through the deep jungle at the North eastern part of the island where it was reported the Ladros men settled Dragonstone.

Only the bravest of the natives can succeed on that mission, so it was one of the best scout King Azuma had at his disposal who was chosen to spy the Oleander activity there.

What he discovered was quite allarming for the tribe....

The bluecoats were really trying to settle in Berelli and were exploring the jungle.

But, something happened that the Oleon men did not expect... The jungle reaction to their presence was extremely unfriendly ! And a Tree Beast hit hardly a soldier who fell hurt. Hopefully, the company doctor provided him the first aid while the rest of the troup tryed to repel the ennemy.

The jungle reaction seemed to amuse the Ténotclaxcan scout who stayed out of view behind the lush plants. With that kind of reaction, no need for King Azuma to launch a war...

Just a little build to describe my impressions and my reaction to the creation of Dragonstone by Brandon Stark.

I have to precise that no Bluecoat has been harmed or injured during the process of building this MOC.

That's a fine little build. A good variety of foliage and plants create a nice, untamed jungle atmosphere, and I like that you incorporated some rockwork into the jungle.

You might consider adding some 1x1 tiles and plates as stones or rocks along the path. It could add some nice texture.

I absolutely adore this kind of IC reaction to current events! It is a great way to tie in the natives with the new Olean settlement.

As always, the high-hatted natives are a great amusement to me, and the flesh eating plant looks very dramatic!

As to improvements on future builds, I would suggest some baseline elevation. Currently, you have a rather flat plate with some elevated elements on top. I find that adding some landscaping before I start building on top gives a more realistic and dynamic look. Also, your minifig posing is good, but tends to be very "90 degree". Perhaps putting some of the minifigs more diagonally, would make it look a little more dynamic?

Nonetheless, good work. I hope to see more of the tenoxcclickcktyamnsfddfckljaxcxas.... in the future! :pir-grin:
