A recoloured sheep would be good. The rest of the rumoured sets don’t sound too likely to produce new animals - but I’m hoping the ‘Great Vehicles’ sets provide a surprise - perhaps safari vehicles (with one of the missing 4 - hippo, giraffe, rhino, zebra), a National Park ranger’s vehicle (with a bison), a canal boat (with swans) or a coastal boat (with sea lions) and that the trains are an Outback train (with kangaroos) or an Andean train (with llamas). Doubt Lego will give us anything though! You never know. We got the adult and baby seals and otters from the smallest sets. At this point, I'm very curious about the axolotl we'll be getting with Friends. Even the Minecraft version was cute (I usually dislike Minecraft animals). Quote

The otter has leaked so then that is confirmed as well, trans light satin or something like that, not the same color as the original it seems.. It does look different - but we should probably wait to see the real thing, renders being what they are Quote

The set leak includes several lifestyle shots and the otter is present in a few of them. Definitely looks satin instead of sparkly. Quote

I was about to say we don´t know all Patroni of that wave yet, but turns out all other sets that were unknown yet, simply don´t have those included. Even Hagrids Motorbike. On 10/28/2025 at 12:00 AM, Accio Lego said: That means the summer wave will definitely have new sparkly blue animals. You’re right that the Doe is pretty much guaranteed given its plot significance, which should be a new mold. Another one that’s practically certain is Ron’s dog, which may or may not be a new mold. To round out the wave (and possibly the D2C) top contenders would be Ginny’s Horse, Aberforth’s Goat, and Kingsley’s Lynx – all of which appear in some form in the movies – and Dumbledore’s Phoenix – purely due to his significance as a character. Of those, only the Lynx would be a new mold. There are a decent number of other canon patronuses, but most of them are handicapped by the fact that they never appeared on screen and their characters aren’t as critical as Dumbledore I would expect the horse and the doe aswell as the dog. Not to sure we will get a Lynx though. Aberforths Goat would at least be easy to do, since it is an existing mould, same as Dumbledores Phoenix. And we have yet to see how many more Patroni we will get. On 10/28/2025 at 12:00 AM, Accio Lego said: (McGonagall lucked out with her patronus animal being the same as Umbridge’s, since her cool patronus scene was cut from the movies). Not sure which scene you mean exactly to be honest, but I guess it was included as a deleted Scene on one of the films? That would actually be already enough to include it anyways. Like @pinar said we have seen other small sets getting new moulds before, and they usually sell in high numbers, since they are perfect small gifts. 22 hours ago, williejm said: It does look different - but we should probably wait to see the real thing, renders being what they are As @Accio Lego said it was seen on Lifestyle shots - from the renders, I would have thought it is simply trans bright blue (without glitter). RichardGoring Posted October 31 Posted October 31 Only McGonagall's cat and Luna's hare patronuses. Nothing in the bike chase scene, potions classroom, flying Ford Anglia, Cornish Pixie, or Philosopher's Stone collection. And no new animals in the Series 28 Animals CMF. And only one rubber duckie for the crocogator costume. Oh well. Quote
Lion King Posted October 31 Posted October 31 My wishlist: 1.) Moose 2.) Goose 3.) Red fox 4.) Bison 5.) Ostrich 6.) Giraffe 7.) Rhino 8.) Siber-toothed tiger cub 9.) Emperor penguin 10.) Giant ground sloth (Ice age creature) 11.) Woolly mammoth calf 12.) Medium-sized dragon (not brick built) 13.) New seagull (not made out of rubber this time) 14.) Walrus 15.) Dimetrdon 16.) Teenage T-rex 17.) alien dog Quote
Lion King Posted October 31 Posted October 31 For Series 28 Animal Costumes, it’s exactly what I predicted - no new acutal animal molds. I wonder if they will some for Series 29. Quote

Oh well Quote

I’m getting them all! Quote

I always love general regular CMF Series no matter what kind of themes they are, such as birthday, costume, Halloween, Space, and now this animal costumes. I do agree with you those costumes look very cute! I hope we will get some animals for Series 29. :) Or maybe licensed CMF. Quote

That would actually be already enough to include it anyways. I’m talking about a scene from the original book, which was not adapted for the movie. Luna takes Harry directly from the Room of Requirement to Ravenclaw tower to see what the Diadem looks like, where they get into a confrontation with the Carrows (with McGonagall becoming involved because the brother can’t get into the Ravenclaw common room without her answering the door knocker riddle for him). Afterwards McGonagall simultaneously casts three copies of her patronus at once to alert the other teacher to what’s happening. That’s how we know her patronus takes the form of a cat identical to her animagus form. The movies obviously cut all that for time – and Harry never saw Ravenclaw’s Diadem in the Room of Hidden things in the sixth movie like he did in the book, so seeing a statue with it wouldn’t have help much. That’s why McGonagall is lucky her patronus is the same animal as Umbridge’s, who cast on screen in a scene that has previously been made into a Lego set and is so reviled that nobody wants to see her celebrated in an anniversary series. In contrast, Arthur Weasley (Weasel), Cho Chang (Swan), Ernie McMillan (Boar), and Seamus Finnigan (Fox) were all shown casting their patronuses in the book, but had those scenes cut from the movie, so I think the likelihood of them showing up is next to none. Ginny, Aberforth, and Kingsley do get their patronuses shown though (ironic, since Ginny actually isn’t explicitly shown in the books), (and the former two are even preexisting molds) which is why Kingsley’s Lynx has the highest chance of becoming a new animal after the obvious Doe. Ironically, Dumbledore only casts his patronus ambiguously in the books (without the reader ever being told it’s a Phoenix) and never in the movies, so he’s relying entirely on the prominence of his character to make the cut. Aurore Posted October 31 Posted October 31 Aren't we supposed to get a wolf Patronus in the Hospital Wing set? I vaguely remember news about that, but no picture. I may have lived so long under a rock recently that I missed something though.... Quote

Any I am missing? Yep. there’s also - dachshund - bulldog - French bulldog - shepherd is used for GSD, generic shepherd, and weirdly the Dalmatian print. (& now ubiquitous shepherd pup, used for wolf pup and Toto) - retriever dog with dual moulded vest & if you’re including wolf, then maybe also the fox mould? Quote

Hang in there buddy, I know it's November and the year has not been great when it comes to Lego animals, but hopefully we will get some good news for next year soon Not any new cat color in the Star trek set it seems, but on the positive side we do not have to chase it behind the licensed wall Quote
