LEGO Nexo Knights 2018

As much as i would love to see the theme go more space related and a space shuttle in the colors of the knights and small space craft for each of them, but one of the people who use to be on the NK design team said "I think knights in armor sticks to the ground"

exactly my thought maybe his comment on the subject was just to avoid spoilers of ideas they are going? Cause the rocket in the castle set just seems like the perfect start to NK in space high tech knights fighting space aliens would be such an awesome path for it, and since we may not see a regular space line for who knows when cause of star wars this could be the closest thing to one

The thing is, if we wouldn't see a in-house Space theme because of Disney's Star Wars barrage, then likewise, we wouldn't see Nexo Knights stray anywhere close to Space for the exact same reason.

Largest set leaked today. We clearly get a dragon armored someone in the set, along with Cole and Zane. The dragons from the calander is also in it

I really hope that we get black, gunmetal gray or silver versions of the helmet pieces that Clay, Aaron and Axl use at some point in order to create some neutrally colored knights.

Well, there was the Stone Clay minifigure. I think that had a grey helmet? Never managed to get the set, though (my local retailers didn't stock it and the only ones that did went out of stock - still hopeful, though) so I can't confirm.

I think it's sand blue, actually.  Even if it were grey, I would really love a pearl grey (silver) / pearl dark grey (gunmetal) helmet.

So far, the helmet is available in blue, bright light orange, dark blue, green, and sand blue.

Certainly, or even to reuse for custom Space Marines/Troopers.

Maybe LEGO will make Neko a prequel to NinjaGo to drum up sales.

LEGO often makes odd choices for helmet colors. I've been on a Power Miners kick recently and the first year those blue helmets really should have been white. That's my main complaint with the line.

Ninjago already has a fairly well-established backstory—retconning that to include a radically different theme wouldn't make a lot of sense narratively, and I doubt it'd have much of an impact on flagging sales. In that event Lego is probably more likely to devote resources to developing Nexo Knights' successor (be that a castle theme, a media-driven "big bang" theme, or both) than to try to revitalize a theme that is already slowing down.

Personally I liked the blue Power Miners helmets. I felt like they helped contribute to the down-to-earth, blue collar charm of the theme's characters, moreso than a more uniform color-coordinated outfit would.

I love Power Miners and like what they are wearing. But for more useful helmets white would have been better. That was more of my point.

no any nexo 2018 set in Latvia. in last two years we got all major sets including store exclusives. but now nothing ???

Got the Twinfector and love the Twins, but they feel like Ninjago villains, not Nexo Knights villains

Grabbed that one today and I tend to agree. Pola is pretty solid figure, but doesn't feel particularly NK. Also doesn't live up to some of her predecessor named character figures. Set quality notwithstanding, the likes of Krakenskull and Ruina Stoneheart were pretty hard acts to follow.

I hear that. Lord Krakenskull is a gorgeous figure whose usefulness will far outlive the Nexo Knights theme. I could just see him standing tall in the centre of a graveyard. Especially once we get that rock shoulder armour part in dark grey from Ultra Violet in the Ninjago theme to give him some extra armour.
