41999 is dark blue

That's not what he meant. He means that the 41999 can be built in Medium Blue or Dark Azure, depending on the color of the Rally Car.

Looking at the pictures of the set with the people in more realistic lighting, I am positive it is medium blue.

It does indeed look a lot lighter in these pictures.

And remains 42036 a bit by its Red skeleton with a Medium Blue livery (Medium Blue + White here).

I don't see the videos. Have they been removed?

There are no videos there from the beginning. The video shots are included in the product picture gallery. Click the product image and scroll to those at the ends.

Ok, seeing this all the arguments like: "Afols forget, that LEGO's target audience are children" are not viable any more. These pictures put a clear statement in the face: LEGO wants to open OUR wallet, and we represent significant share in the sales. :classic: Not like that the raising number of expensive (and I mean really expensive!) sets wouldn't have indicate this.

Yes, for sure!

A lot of people seems to share your desires, to buy this car as a first Technic set since a long time. To dive or to re-dive into this theme.

And I barely understand why, because technicaly speaking, this car is pretty poor, a 40€ set can do the same (steering, shocks, engine). About design its ok but not stellar (especially without stickaz), tire gaps are ridiculous. And finally it seems to be way overpriced for what it has to offer.

Maybe your requirements are low, but for me this THE Not To By set of H1 wave (with the 42075), especially with a non-standard blue color *huh*.

Maybe at -80%, ill consider purshasing it:laugh:

There are so many better sets on shelf to dive into the Technic line.

Some people are just car-guys (or gals), me included. I personally couldnt care less about yet another industrial truck or crane, doesnt matter how much functions they have.

And while the functions might not impress (42037 was 55 euros though, not 40, which is the closest thing functionality wise i can think off), it certainly looks the part and is about the only option (race)car enthusiasts have for a serious set, this side of a 300 euro porsche. Considering how little race cars technic gets im always a bit irked by the crane/lorry enthusiasts bemoaning "yet another race car" when something worthwhile actually shows up. After 42039 all us car guys have had was the 42048 go-kart and the "funny car" drag racer, which is so ugly i cant bring myself to buy one excluding the porsche that is 3 sets for 3 years of technic.

/rant, dont mean to rip on the crane/offroad guys by the way, im just a bit annoyed i only get about 1 race car each year to look forward to, and yes, id love more/better features in them! (although i just mod whatever i get my hands on), i mean come on lego, cant you give us at least AWD in a rally car?

EDIT: by the way, any clues as to when we can expect reviews? the last couple of years those dropped around dec 1st right?

I don't know if anyone has mentioned this already but is this circled part the frictionless gear part from the 42056?

We just got the first half, 1 and a half months before official realease, and you already want 2H allready?!

I never wrote that I "want" it now. It was just an informal question. Didnt expect, that that is already too much.

...and just before Nurmberg toy fair first images of 2H will be displayed. So as @Ngoc Nguyen nicely mentioned we should enjoy 1H sets

Now, I can confirm that the dozer is regular blue. I considered getting it, but I'm holding off, as it would be a good gift set.

One question? Is your country Canada? Because I want some of these soon. Thanks!
