BrickMonster MonsterBrick Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 The swears in the Smurf comic made it even more halarious! XD Quote
Batbrick Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 Excellent use of the axe-wielding Smurf! This comic is providing nightmare fuel now The gag about the police smurf with his constant whistling was quite inspired too. Batbrick Away! Quote

KDog Posted October 3, 2009 Author Posted October 3, 2009 (edited) The Bad Side of Town (Part 4): http://drunkduck.com/Lego_Space/index.php?p=619328 Good catch, Danny! Geez, I didn't even catch my obvious Communism reference! It's just coincidence, though. As a side note, just one person (my cousin) has seen the detailed outline of what I'm planning in the comic and what's behind all those story titles I posted earlier. So, if I get shot by a tank or something, at least it's possible you'll all still find out the resolution. Edited October 3, 2009 by KDog Quote

Batbrick Posted October 7, 2009 Posted October 7, 2009 Sorry KDog, I didn't even see that last one Gotta say I loved the Micheal Jackson tribute. Never been a big fan of his at all, but Thriller cannot be denied of how awesome it is, including the music video. The He-man joke at the end made me laugh too. The pun at the start of the previous one made me cringe though Batbrick Away! Quote

Batbrick Posted October 11, 2009 Posted October 11, 2009 Blech! Smurf J.J Abrams really is one sick director isn't he? I laughed at the use of the lightning piece as a projectile vomit, it works in a really strange way. And the "upchuck fetish crowd" made me laugh, there really is every fetish imaginable out there somewhere And of course Jack the Smurfer saves the day once again, you've really created one of the most three dimensional characters in him, what with the pathos and homicidal urges and all! Looking forward to the next parts of the story, I'm getting curious over just where Scouse is (probably still with Ronald). Batbrick Away! Quote
KDog Posted October 11, 2009 Author Posted October 11, 2009 You'll find out more about where Scouse really is by the end of this story. Quote

zero1312 Posted October 13, 2009 Posted October 13, 2009 Never stare at other girls, when your girl is standing next to you, especially when she's a powerhouse. Quote
Batbrick Posted October 14, 2009 Posted October 14, 2009 Hehe, you really do love perverting childhood memories as much as possible don't you? Great improv gag at the end there, and I find it funny how Scouse's accent tends to fluctuate form part to part. Batbrick Away! Quote

Batbrick Posted October 18, 2009 Posted October 18, 2009 Haha, Tasmania reference! Poor Scouse is going around in circles, I did love the jokes at the bottom panels; veltron physics and blue drinks all around Oh, and the new banner looks great! Batbrick Away! Quote
KDog Posted October 20, 2009 Author Posted October 20, 2009 Today, we finally depart Smurf Village and return to Legoland! http://www.drunkduck.com/Lego_Space/?p=626094 Quote
Batbrick Posted October 20, 2009 Posted October 20, 2009 A very satisfying conclusion! I fully saw it coming that they'd still be with Ronald, but the context of the scene was hilarious. I love that he's still in his chair too! Looking forward to the next storyline as always. Batbrick Away! Quote
KDog Posted October 20, 2009 Author Posted October 20, 2009 Thanks, Batbrick! Actually, you're going to get to see how Ronald's job interview goes before we move on to the next story. Quote
KDog Posted October 24, 2009 Author Posted October 24, 2009 A job interview gone... wrong? http://www.drunkduck.com/Lego_Space/?p=627706 Quote
Batbrick Posted October 24, 2009 Posted October 24, 2009 Hahaha, seems Ronald's interview has gone horribly right! I was looking forward to this one KDog and you delivered. I love Mr Wobbly Droid, for some reason I picture him as having a voice like C-3PO. I hope his marvellous "work ethics" won't be his undoing though. Looking forward to the last part, the mini-description you posted there sounds intriguing. Ronald really shot up form being an annoying side character for me. I did notice a little light inconsistency there though, just a bit too dark in some panels. However I did like the afternoon feel. Batbrick Away! Quote
KDog Posted October 28, 2009 Author Posted October 28, 2009 Finally, the answer to what is happening to Mr. Scouse!: http://drunkduck.com/Lego_Space/index.php?p=629044 Quote
