It's been a while since Guy's renown Uncle has appeared on the scene.  But don't imagine that he's not been busy!  Far from it!  Uncle has been occupied in using the best agricultural skills of the Brick Seas to breed the largest size of palm tree yet!

Of course, such a beautiful palm tree couldn't go to waste!  Guy's Uncle did a little snooping around the account sheet... and got a hold of a certain someone's minion.  He also sent a nice note to Countess Agnes Mesabi, asking if she wouldn't be present at an interactive demonstration.  She was kind enough to agree.

Not only had Uncle grown the largest palm tree in the Brick Seas, but he had also developed a brand new, simplified way to hang people by their toes.

After tying the person's toes securely to a hefty rope, Uncle got a strong sailor to toss an empty bucket attached to the other end over the top of a palm tree.

Then the sailor climbed the tree and began to drop stones into the bucket.

This was something of a slow process, but it got done eventually.

Agnes Mesabi watched in admiration... until the sailor started to tie her own toes...

"What?!?  You can't do this!"

"You were in the red last month," Uncle responded.

"Me?  That was my husband!"

"All the same."

And so the process was promptly repeated.

But fortunately for the poor hangees, a messenger ran to Uncle up just as they were struggling.  "Sir!  The Colonial Council is considering implementing a MRCA tax on..."

"What?!?!?  A MRCA tax?  I must register my protest instantly!"  And Uncle dashed off, faster than anyone had ever seen him run before, and before the messenger even got a chance to say, "on Oleon."

Thereupon the messenger and the sailor good naturally helped Agnes and the minion to descend, considerably ruffled in temper, but unhurt in body.

That's all for now, I'm in a powerful hurry - sorry the pictures aren't quite up to par, but it rained all day!

i really like how you've built the sand and the palm tree.

It's that a common practice in Bobs to hang those who are broke?

Uncle is back - despotism justice for the win!!

Good to see his palm trees (loving that design!) have grown strong enough to support multiple... dangling things

Keep it up... and keep them up!

It's been done excessively in the good old days. But when everybody grew rich and fat, Uncle's palm trees couldn't support the massive weight

Being allegedly broke can be enough, though - Uncle is immune to reasonable arguments

Uncle Strikes Back! :pir-laugh: Good job with the sand, and I've always wondered what a tree trunk made of 2x2 rounds connected via tube would look like - now I know. The trunks are fine, but it makes the canopies look a little small. But... shouldn't Uncle be shouting at the trees? Marital advice, or hygiene, or politics or something?

Nice to see Uncle back at it... although poor Agnes, strung up for her husbands debts!!! The palm trees are indeed quite nice, I will have to try that at some stage.

Hehe, yay for uncle's adventures!

The palm trees look great as other people mentioned. But the little base is also excellently built!

Poor Mesabi when Agnes gets hold of him...

Cool coconut trees. I don´t have those pieces, but cool to see even if I am not going to steal them

As KB says, hanging people by their toes from a palm tree is a classic thing my character Guy Wyndzon's uncle does whenever he spots someone in the red. :pir-grin:  It used to be more meaningful in the good old days when accounts were calculated manually at the end of the month, so people didn't have instant access to see what was actually in their account and errors were occasionally made which I saw when the accounts were all posted in the forum.  Since it's all been automated, I haven't really been keeping tabs on who goes into the red; but a couple people got mentioned, so...

Thank you!

People are always trying to cheat Uncle out of his fun! :pir_tong2:   Thanks!

That first shot with the blurry background is great.  And as has been said, those are some very nice palm trees.

Thanks Kwatchi!

Used up all the palm leaves I had, unfortunately, or I would have tried to make the canopies a bit bigger.   And yeah, I would have loved to write more!  Ran out of time.  These past weeks have been super hectic for me, I had almost give up on the hanging at all!  Thank you!

:pir-laugh:  Thanks Ayrlego!  Yeah, there were lots of those pieces in the Temple of Airjitzu and I've been looking out for ways to use them ever since that set bit the sorting dust...

Thank you Puvel!  Glad you noticed the base!  First time I've tried that technique out for sand, worked pretty well!
