Reza Posted March 23, 2018 Posted March 23, 2018 The black battery case is also expensive: starts from 12 euro on bricklink. You got a good deal! Bravo! Quote

Do the interior of blue and black motors exactly the same? there is a good chance they are since both were produced between 1967-69. If so, then all he needs to do is the buy a working blue motor and replace the content of his black motor :-) Quote

As far as I know, these two sets are the only ones to use the black high profile motor. Quote

Based on bricklink, there are 3 sets having this black motor, as it appears to me that the sets 118-3 and 119-1 are very similar:https://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemIn.asp?P=bb07&in=S As far as I know, I only have one blue motor. God knows it is now at the bottom of which box! Maybe you could open your motors and take a photos and upload? If I find mine, I would do the same. Quote

You can view on pictures that the motor case have opening marks (when I buy it was already opened) Quote
