If he's innocent he didnt provide anything to the town and what few instances he did split and sowed confusion amongst us. We're better off without that distraction. If he's guilty of being scum then we lucked out and are closer to winning. If we assume him innocent and he is scum then he'll help pick us off. (I hate playing meta cause I find it spoils things but I remember from past games he always plays this way to some degree whether he's scum, innocent, or third party.)

It's like you want to be helpful but want to distance yourself from the lynch as well. A scum player would know Ozzel's allegiance so if we are lynching a townie, they'd want to keep their hands clean. By saying things like this your basically saying "When he comes as town, don't look at me. I warned you!". I'm not saying your scum, but this warrants consideration tomorrow regardless of the outcome.

Some people change behavior each game as a reaction to failed strategies. Some change so minimally they might as well not have changed. That's why it's wise to stay within the context of each game and not metagame. ~~~ We need 2 more votes for Ozzel I believe.

I'm not a huge fan of vigilantes, they tend to srew with the town more than they do with the scum in my experience. But it's unusual for scum to claim vigilante, just because of how easy it is to check up and how you paint a big target on your back if someone else is the real vigilante. I’m a little mixed, yes it’s a very late and convenient claim to make, but games can be won or lost due to decisions like this. If his claim his true then what we do now may affect the rest of the game. I’ve seen and been in situations where a critical last minute claim turned out to be true, I’m not saying that’s is the case here, but I feel this needs to be considered.

Wouldn't investigator be the better claim for a desperate scum? Even if there is another cop, they can't easily give up their role. Vigilantes don't have to.
