LM71Blackbird Posted June 29, 2018 Posted June 29, 2018 Quinnsville Gunboats With tensions always high on the Brick Seas with constant threats of pirate attacks, some settlements are deploying small gunboats and gun sloops to help protect local waters. Quinnsville has recently launched 3 new gunboats for the purpose of protecting their harbor. Gunboat 10 by LM71Blackbird, on Flickr They were all three built differently in order to pull on strengths of different sizes and maneuverability in the heat of battle. Gunboat 4 by LM71Blackbird, on Flickr Gunboat 5 by LM71Blackbird, on Flickr They all feature a frontward facing cannon and the rear is protected by a quick firing deck gun for extra protection. Gunboat 6 by LM71Blackbird, on Flickr Gunboat 7 by LM71Blackbird, on Flickr The largest of the three was equipped with a sail for longer patrols in order to give the oarsmen a rest after long durations at sea.
