I've been having a think about the remaining 4 sets/potential bricktober pack

I feel like one of them will have a version of Captain Marvel with her Helmet on. The reason I say that is because of the Captain America Helmet from the Endgame sets. If you look there's a pinhole at the top, which is obviously useless on Cap as he doesn't have accessories on his helmet. So they would only put that in the mould if they planned on reusing it for another figure.

The pinhole would be a perfect spot to put a lock of CMs hair coming out of her helmet. So perhaps at least one of the four sets will have CM in it? Or maybe in a Bricktober pack

The chance of a bricktober pack happening is very low, and we've had this discussion countless times already. It's better to just let it go.

The hole in Cap's helmet was most likely included as a ''just in case'' thing if they ever decide to reuse it for another character and need to insert something.

Besides that, this isn't confirmation of anything. But a new picture leaked this morning of the new Rachel and Chandler figures from the Friends Ideas set, in front of those 2 is a figure of Captain Marvel (same prints as CM and Endgame) with short hair. Could be how she looks in a future set or it's just a random hairpiece someone gave to her, treat it as you like.

Does anyone know if the brick toner pack is still at Hamley’s London? I know a while back they still had loads, but has anyone been their more recently?

I know nothing's confirmed it's just my sepculation

Maybe I missed something but why is it so unlikely to get a bricktober pack?

The short version is:

Bricktober was a ToysRUs promotion. ToysRUs went bankrupt.

True, but only in the USA and UK, it's still fully operational everywhere else in the world, with apparent plans to resurface in the USA (online only at first), so I see no reason why they'd cancel bricktober.

Plus that promotion is so popular that if they wanted to LEGO could just make it their own in-store promotion (like they did with near the release of the Endgame movie in the USA)

I'll never claim any of this as fact unless I had confirmation, but I see no harm in logical speculation

And a small bit to add to that is we still haven't heard anything about them coming this year. Last year we saw 3 of the 4 around March and the final one, Jurassic World, around July

It's much more than only the USA and UK, they're gone in most places (including Europe)

But I think it's best not to keep lingering on the Bricktober discussion as we've already had them countless of times and mostly result in mods having to step in

Oh really? Didn't know they were disappearing in other countries too. Sucks for Toys'R'Us

It is not true that they are only gone in the US and UK. The ToysRUs that was big enough to have this kind of promotion produced for it is gone. The part of the company working with LEGO on this promotion is gone. Bricktober is gone.

Unless tangible evidence that Bricktober is somehow revived surfaces, any speculation is just that - speculation. Bricktober, advent calendars (for new themes) and CMFs are the new wishlists it seems.

Just to let people know: the newest Spider-Man suit isn't called "Black and Red suit" or "Bosco suit". It's officially called the "Upgraded Suit".

I'm also surprised how nobody did talk about Mysterio minifigure being such a disappointment - after seeing the movie, we all know that he doesn't change his suit to more green one. We also know that Lego is the only toy company that didn't have his golden chestplate.

The minifigure design (all the lines) actually look like there should be golden printing, but it's not here, kinda like they run out of golden color and they were like "Ah, no problem, we're just gonna use green instead".

To sum up all the bad things about this minifigure - no golden chestplate, no golden dual-moulded legs, no golden dual-moulded arms, no arm printing and no smoke printing on his head. It's also disappointing that we didn't get a Quentin Beck face and green power effects, even with having him in all three sets. This one is not on concept art, this one is on Lego :ugh:

Also a question for those who have seen FFH

  Reveal hidden contents

Do you think Mysterio is really dead? Personally I think it would be a kick in the nuts if he's still alive, especially since EDITH confirmed his death (although I guess no one ever actually specified dead). But I would love for him to return because JG was amazing and would be a great repeat cast member in the MCU, and also becase this would give us 4 members of the Sinister 6, which I really hope will be who Peter faces in Spider-Man 3

Spoiler

Like I speculated, I think Chameleon or others may have helped fake his death.

Notice when Peter asks "Is this real", Edith doesn't say "Life signs of Quinton Beck are gone" but rather "All the illusions have been cancelled Peter". Just saying.

This is not for kids, as this was priced atleast 50 bucks. But for an AFOL / completionist. I am absolutely with what I got.

Share your thoughts away!

PS. It's pad printed. Same technique print that lego is using with their minifigure.

I'm a purist, but with the exception of the web-line printing on the feet, which I find offputting when compared with the official figures, even if it is more accurate, if you had told me that was a leaked official figure I would have believed it.

They've had pinholes in pieces that don't require them before, the only one that comes to mind right now is the turban piece but I'm sure there's more. It's possible that could be used for captain marvel, but I wouldn't hold my breath.

As we all know, TLG didn't provide us what we really need with FFH sets. But I know they did everything they can with those 3 sets.

Dunno if the 3rd installment will guarantee us the "bosco suit" and it'll be a couple more years to see what happens next. After all, they didn't give us the "home made suit" so I just wanna share you this minifigure I recently bought:

Here's a comparison between @theminifigco FFH suit and TLG's official HC/FFH suit. You decide.

This minifigure is from @theminifigco called "Lost Arachnid" basically it's the new one for Far From Home.

That's a really great custom. Fair warning though, Lego hands aren't really designed to be printed on so some people have had problems with the printing cracking on the fingers. Still a beautiful custom though.

That’s not necessarily true. As we’ve seen with the Thor Ragnarok sets, Lego seems to use earlier concept art then some other companies. It wouldn’t surprise me at all if the Mysterio we got is completely accurate to some concept art they were given. Even with the inaccuracies, it’s a pretty decent figure.

This is still just speculation here though. Seeing as we haven't actually heard from Lego that it's been cancelled.
Toys'r'us may have been closed (In certain countries) but I remember Lego responding that Bricktober packs were moving to other retailers (which has been shown by their move to Hamleys, ect.) ad possibly in-house. I honestly don't see Lego cancelling one of the most profitable and hyped up promotions simply because Toys'r'us closed down. That's really absurd.

Absolutely it's just speculation. I hope my posts aren't making it seem otherwise? I've just been talking about the potential use/wishing for certain things as the page is for speculation

Yeah you're right those things are in really high demand. LEGO would be fools not to carry on the bricktober style promotions considering how much hype they get. Obviously with a bit of rebranding, but the same four figure format

Definitely not holding my breath, after all this is LEGO we're talking about... notorious for wasted potential

Although I do think the turban piece was used with a feather type attachment at one point... Or I could be completely misremembering

I think the main argument for LEGO ending bricktober alongside Tys'R'Us closing is the fact that the concept of "bricktober" was started by Toys'R'Us (I believe, correct me if I'm wrong please) but that's nothing a simple rebrand wouldn't take care of

They released HP in Barnes and Noble after all, and Infinity War in their own stores this year

If Lego decides to release their version, I just hope to keep the same level with the Stark suit. Printed arms and dual molded legs. For now, I'll enjoy this custom printed with genuine lego parts. Such a badass.

Yeah, thanks for that. The company is good enough to send replacements if ever someone who purchased has a problem with their copy. As of right now, I don't find any issues with it. And for the most part he is displayed together with those other MCU Spidey suits.

With regards to Bricktober, I for one is expecting it this year, but hearing no news about it. I would suggest that we can just wait for news to surface then we talk about it. Right now, we look forward to those known. / 4 sets incoming.

I agree, I hope they don't do what they did with Iron Spider and neglect the dual moulded legs! Although at least the iron spider legs ca be swapped with the Stark suit legs to make an almost perfect match

Would it be possible to create a separate thread for Bricktober discussion as long as there are no rumours suggesting there is anything related to Marvel Superheroes 2019, or use the existing Marvel Superheroes Rumors & Speculation if the speculation relates purely to Marvel Superheroes?

I think this is a great idea. Just because LEGO did something once doesn’t necessarily  mean they’ll do it again. At this point, any comments relating to a Bricktober Pack 2K19 would just be pure speculation and/or wishlisting.

PSA: they have atleast 80 bricktober packs in London Hamleys. Just a shame the stuff is so expensive. I might get one tomorrow. I figure that the pack makes up for the extra 20+% you’re paying on the price of the set(s) you buy

It might have been, but it's more so that they put pin holes in some molds even if they don't intend to use anything in it right off the bat. It could happen, but knowing lego we'll get a mask print on one side of her face or something

If I can paint the gold lines in the dual molded legs then it's all good in the hood.

Dang you remind me that those legs for Iron Spider is so freaking uglyyyyy!

It is just the Captain Marvel figure with Thor's hair on it.
