DarkYamiDragon Posted March 29, 2008 Posted March 29, 2008 Today, I went to the local grocery store. While I was going down the aisle of fruit snacks, I found these: LEGO FUN SNACKS! (or fruit snacks) Just an interesting find that I wanted to share with you all. By the way, they taste pretty good too. :-$ Quote
Deinonychus Posted March 29, 2008 Posted March 29, 2008 I've got some of those in my pantry. They are pretty good, but I think LEGO quality control is slipping because I can't get them to connect with my regular bricks or the Eggo waffle ones Quote
brickchic Posted March 29, 2008 Posted March 29, 2008 What the hell is "Graperry" flavour? It'd be cool if you could actually build with them - though I suppose they've got flat bottoms. Kids all over Ohio would be slightly confused when told "Billy - don't play with your food!" (and not just because most kids aren't actually named Billy). I've never seen these in Aus BTW. I would unfortunately and rather embarrassingly buy them if they were sold here :-$ . Rebecca Quote
ExoBuilder Posted March 29, 2008 Posted March 29, 2008 I've had those before, I don't like them that much though. As Deionanchis ( X-D ) said, TLCs quality is surely slipping, Lego needs to stop making these annoying soft peices :-| ;-) Quote
Johnny 5 Posted March 29, 2008 Posted March 29, 2008 Didn't a couple of years ago they had some chewing gum ones that actually fit together? Quote
iamded Posted March 29, 2008 Posted March 29, 2008 Those look tasty. It's like 2 of my favourite things in one. :-D ~Peace Quote
Shoc Posted March 29, 2008 Posted March 29, 2008 Yum! Cherry flavour Lego! :-P What the hell is "Graperry" flavour? I was thinking the same! *skull* Quote
VBBN Posted March 29, 2008 Posted March 29, 2008 I bought those once. I didn't care for them much. Quote
Erdbeereis Posted March 29, 2008 Posted March 29, 2008 (edited) That's pretty cool! LEGO must be more popular now because I don't remember there ever being LEGO fruit snacks. I'll look for them next time I go to the supermarket. I think Graperry is a combo of grape and cherry. Edited March 29, 2008 by Erdbeereis1 Quote

Shadows Posted March 30, 2008 Posted March 30, 2008 Don't ask me how I know this, but if you save fruit snacks like this for too long, they'll eventually turn black. They will not mold, however. I picked up a big box of these one day (something like 50 packs inside) and honestly, they aren't great, but they're basically the same as all the other fruit snacks out there (they aren't great, either). I would have appreciated a mail-in offer on these for a small set, like LEGO has done in the past, but no such luck. Last one of those I got was the Studios Pirate promo years ago. Quote
