I cant believe we havent heard a thing about this series yet.

Is it because these are now being produced on Billund? I guess it has to be that.

Not even a single character name. Not even a little tiny single piece leaked yet. Like not even the color of the series. *crossesfingersforpurple*

Nothing.... nothing at all.

Its like these are being produced in the Pentagon or something

The daily sweeps of Instagram are getting pretty damn depressing. :hmpf:

I do wish Lego themselves could be more proactive and give us at least a few official teasers of such rather than relying on leaks that never seem to come.

Hitting us with a partial list would be nice. Guess there's nothing for it but to wait it out.

Yeah, with the Collectable Minifigure line, typically a leaked list of archetypes can be a much more exciting event for those hanging on for news of such than can be the actual reveal and/or image leak of the Series.

I don't know, perhaps we'll hear something come mid-month at the earliest? :def_shrug:

That's a good idea! Thank you @Digger of Bricks

If you'd like, might I also suggest the Embassy subforum's official suggestion topic for Fan Ambassadors if you'd wish to offer your input there too! :classic: Perhaps you may also garner some inspiration for further CMF Drafts over on your channel!

Haha yes it seems that way.

And while I’m 99.9 percent sure we’ll get the Fox suit girl from the second LEGO movie I  still like to have that 00.1 percent confirmation and while I’ve already made my predictions a long while back I’m going to throw out the possibility that they’ll re-color the watermelon piece into a slice of pizza if not this series then it will be series 20 for sure

And as long as we get some historical/mythology/fantasy/medieval/pirates and sci-fi minifigures ( since we seem to not have many of those characters now days ) I’ll be happy and maybe a basketball player .

Actually about the Fox suit I’m calling it now that it will be in this series.

I think that depends on whether The LEGO Movie 2 gets a second series or not, which is something we dont know yet.

I am skeptical because I haven't heard of this user before, but thebrickbank on Instagram has posted some supposed rumors for S19. Again, not sure if this is reliable info, but he mentions a pizza suit guy, butler, chef, basketball player, dentist, and miner with pickaxe. Supposedly silver packaging. The chef wouldn't make sense to me since we already had that figure in S17. Thoughts?

Not buying this.

Sounds very City-ish to me.

But, it's only six of sixteen he's "identified" as such, so how's that seem disproportionate? :def_shrug: Here's the post BTW:

Eh, we got the Prospector AND Space Miner in S.12, plus a whole City subtheme last summer. I also think it's too soon for another chef-type figure. The rest sound reasonably feasible.

It's certainly plausible, especially if the person who saw them is more of a City fan themselves, which would lead to a certain selection bias in which figures stood out to them as worth mentioning. A modern-ish miner would certainly be different enough from the past (Prospector) and future (Space Miner) versions we've already seen. I know I would love a pizza suit and have been expecting one from the moment I saw the watermelon suit. And there are enough different kinds of chefs out there that it wouldn't be too hard to differentiate from the S17 one. All of which is just to say, I don't see any inherent reason to doubt this list, even if I don't see any inherent reason to trust it either.

Yeah, that's what I'm figuring, though perhaps I'm just desperate to hear any legit details on this Series. :shrug_confused:

Maybe it'll be more like a soot-covered Coal Miner with headlamped-helmet?

I'm suddenly strangely interested in the re-purpose potential of said soot-covered minifigure.

As far as other soot-related occupations go, a Steam Locomotive Engineer CMF would be cool to see.

I am sorry if I missed anything but has it been ruled out that TLG is doing something special for this series? Think like a highwayman sort of thing or maybe something else entirely. I'm just wondering if there's a reason nothing has been heard about this series.

My guess is there'll be nothing particularly special like that for Series 19, as they'll more likely reserve such for 2020's presumed Series 20 instead, given that the latter will be releasing on the Collectable Minifigure line's tenth anniversary and all. :shrug_oh_well:

Oh, welcome to Eurobricks BTW!!! :sweet:

Ok, that makes sense that they'll save it for Series 20 (hopefully not Mrs. Gold :distressed: ). I'm glad that so far this series seems to be perfectly normal the way I like it. And if what's mentioned above is true then I certainly won't be disappointed as I tend to like City figs.

Thank You! I will probably hang around these Minifigure threads as that's my main interest right now until I save up to do more.

BTW, are you already aware of these recently aforementioned topics, speaking of such?

Yes and I am still finding new threads and even for themes I don't have plans of building soon.

Well, now that user is saying that there should be at least "some sort of space character" as he put it:

Quote

@diggerofbricks so it does look like there will be some sort of space character. As for history/fantasy themes, while nothing is for sure, it does seem like there will be at least one of each. Almost every minifigure series has one of each. A more accurate leak should be coming in a few months.

Regarding the latter statement about historical/fantasy representation, I'm not quite sure if he's certain about such or if he's just presuming it'll be the case. :def_shrug:

A space character? That would make me so happy! But I'll try to keep my excitement in check while we see how reliable this new leaker is.

Honestly this sounds like one big bluff

Well, I'm surprised though no other insider sources here has come to confirm or deny his claims (haven't heard anything yet @Falconfan1414?). I mean, perhaps the only thing that makes me doubt him is the inclusion of the Pizza Suit Guy, something many have been predicting since we first saw the Watermelon Suit Guy. :def_shrug:
