Japan, you say? Aren't the next Olympic Games there? Another Team GB type series perhaps? It's a stretch I know.

Well the Rugby World Cup is on there (Japan) in September so perhaps it’s a promotional set linked to the tournament

I think is the same: if this a licensed set why wouldn't they print the tournament logo?

Also, there is no doubt this is a new mold. I don't recall any pomotional set getting an exclusive mold. It would be way too expensive.

The only explanation I can think of is that CMF S19 has a "normal" version of the mold (brown or plain white) and this Rugby Supreme is for a promo set. But that doesn't explain the printing though

That had been my original thinking too but it doesn’t have a logo appropriate for any tourney I could find. I’m thoroughly confused on this one.

I think it will just be an In-house brand like „octan“.

I would love that. In-house brands can add a lot of character and life to Minifigures, just like name tags.

Now, alas, TLG improved at keeping secrets.

Aw shoot, and I was waiting all this time for your signature CMF riddle game... :cry2:

Let me say this, but that's no riddle.

They usually make pieces that have multiple uses.
Like, they made Wonder Woman's Golden Lazo, then they made a Cowgirl.

Now this

I don't say "I know a shepard is coming" but I'd be rather surprised if there weren't any.

Sure, I've speculated the same earlier on this topic (or perhaps it was the broader "Rumors" topic) in regards to that piece, so I've been crossing my own fingers for such!

Yes, I would love a shepard. Both for the figure itself and for the possible sheep mould.

The sheep mould is long overdue and I think the chance has increased now that they have the shepherd staff as you say @Itaria No Shintaku. They only needs to make the sheep mould and that should be now problem with the CMF mould budget  The last normal series have had 2 new animals, so maybe we get a sheep and a chameleon in series 19 :shrug_oh_well:

+1 for the potential sheep! Big, big fan of LEGO animals. The chameleon is an unexpected but very welcome addition, I think.

Also: not a rumour, just a totally personal wish on my part - I’m hoping for one new pirate character in this 30th anniversary year. So far, thanks to the CMF series, we already have a captain, a zombie captain, a crew member, a Conquistador, an ‘islander’ and - arguably - a bluecoat (the American soldier with the wig). Maybe a cartographer this time? A blacksmith? Merchant? Rum runner? Ship’s cook? Another generic crew member, perhaps female this time?

Didn't an early Nexo Knights video have a sheep design? I remember some animated discussion, if you'll pardon the pun.

Yes, but it never made it into a set unfortunaly :hmpf:

What if LEGO gives us a sheepdog instead of a sheep.

Then they better give us both, but I preffer a white and black sheep in the offchance they are giving us two animal moulds with one fig

Well I think a Blacksmith would also please Castle fans. Castle and Pirates are long overdue some love.

A "Pirate Queen" CMF much like @Robert8's design would be quite welcome! :classic:

Yes please, I’m a fan of castle and pirates figs - and they usually do at least one or two historic ideas I can just hope they are worthwhile.

As for the shepherd, isn’t it true that there have been shepherd rumors for many series’ now? I’d would like for them to finally make it.

Also for a sheep mould

It's about time we get a sheep! First time I played Lego Worlds was last month and I had to go see if they had released a sheep in a set because the in game version looked so good. Obviously not. :ugh:

Recently, I rediscovered the conceptual CMF artwork of TLG Graphic Designer Alexandre Boudon, and thought back to this conversation after seeing his Sorceress idea:

Discussions of his designs have come up many times now over the years and it is great to see how many of the original ones have been made, but so many great ones that never made it. His whole Mythology theme as well never materialised but gave us quite a few Romans and Greeks and Classical style Gods.
