Anyone know if we are getting a polybag minifig for the May the 4th yet? I assume we will find out soon but I was just wondering. Especially since this is the 40th anniversary of TESB and they have given out the white Boba Fett for the 30th.

From what's been said, sounds like we're not getting a minifig again this year... I really don't understand why Lego decided to drop that.

Probably because of how much people were selling them for. Revan goes for at least $70 on bricklink most of the time

I thought someone a while back said it was another mini-build, but I may have imagined that.

If that is true, I know that we've had Endor and Hoth, so I would guess Mos Eisley or Tatooine would make sense, since the one we got was a con exclusive and is a bit smaller than the other promo mini-builds.

Yes, I worded that poorly. My point is we now know baby yoda exists, they don't want to skimp out on the merchandise again.

Yeah, I think there was some translation-type error there, like you pointed out he also says maul is female.

I’d been told there’s no mini figure and the mini build is based on the second Death Star attack, but I haven’t seen it so I’m not posting that with 100% certainty.

Hm, interesting.  I wonder how/if they'll try to make it look as though it's in space?  I doubt I'll spent the $75 or whatever it is to get it, since there isn't $75 worth of SW stuff I particularly need right now (waiting on the actual release to pick up the Razor Crest, I want to see an in-depth review first), but I might buy the parts separately to build it if it looks good.

Will the May the 4th promo apply if pre-ordering the Razor Crest?

I preordered my razor crest with the small train promo if you spent over $99, and they haven't shipped that but it is still on my order sheet. So idk if they keep the promos till the set comes out or what.

@LEGOscum I see. In that case I'd argue that Disney doesn't want a repeat of Baby Yoda, (itself a repeat of the lack of ready merchandise for the first star wars film back in 1977), and will make sure all the merch for this season is happening, but I suppose the sets we already know we're getting are coming out close enough before S2 to be promotion. It's also interesting that Disney makes most of the decisions of that type.

Sorry, I always confuse she and he because the English is not my first language and our education system for the English it´s not so very good... Of course I am knowing that Maul is a guy...  Has anyone seen the review for him on Brickset?

I am sad that you have to get such a terrible book to get the figure but of course the figure is what most people are paying for.

Very nice minifigure selection. I think it’s safe to assume Rey and Poe will be based on TROS, do we know which Luke it will be?

Edit: how cool would it be if they gave us Bespin Luke... I’m going to temper my expectations a bit and expect Farmboy but oh man...

I'm predicting ROTJ Luke, since we haven't had one for a while, although I wouldn't be surprised if it was pilot Luke/Tatooine Luke.

The list has quite a lot of overlap with last year for the line-up.  We had Old Man Luke, First Order Stormtrooper, Battle Droid, Present Gonk Droid and Christmas Porg in 2019.  That is 5 of the 10 mentioned in the list above.

That said, I would love the line-up listed in the calendar.  Just want some more details.

I get it, and yeah it's a terrible book, honestly they could probably profit more by selling the figure alone for half the price.

 

Figure list sounds must better than previous years. We haven't had a luke in awhile, so I'm interested to see what variant it is, and of course I'm glad I didn't buy the y-wing now we know Poe is in the calender.

LEGO books have lacked the quality they used to recently. The 2019 SS visual dictionary is missing the set timeline and minifigure collection the 2014 one had, and there are tons of mistakes and some things look they were put together on photoshop

Possibly Wampa cave Luke? Although I think Bespin or Crait are more likely.

I hope it's a new version of celebration Luke but I'm not getting my hopes up.

The figures sound okay, I guess, but if they're repeats then I'm not interested. I'm not terribly interested in the Porg, D-O or army builders.

I would also be liking to see a Palpatine figure from episode 9.

Considering Rey is in the Night Buzzard, I think there may be a small chance that set will also have Ben And Palpatine in it, and it could be an excuse for a final duel. That would make 500 pieces for $70 easier to swallow for sure.

The 500 pcs for $80 of Grevious Fighter on the other hand..... well, if the third figure is a 212th trooper, I am giving LEGO more money than they deserve.
