The Sarge Posted October 28, 2019 Posted October 28, 2019 Beer Garden - Stories Having received orders to head east, but with a large allowance of time for travel and leave, Guillaume Sebire thought he'd make a stop at the famous Weelond Oktoberfest to see the sights and hear tales of the wild islands and dangerous waters of the new world. Once there, he found himself a seat in one of the less-crowded beer gardens, at a bench with an Eslandolan merchant and an Oleander sailor. Armed with a commemorative mug filled with a fine stout, he settled in as the sailor and merchant bantered back and forth over what the region held for them. The Eslandolan wove tales of riches beyond measure, gold, silver and gems for the taking - as long as one had a head for business of course. The Oleander sailor spoke of the dangers of pirates, privateers, and natives, and the titles and honor to be won conquering them in battle. Guillaume thought his new posting was going to be quite exciting, wherever it would ultimately be. As they spoke, they studiously ignored the Corrie infantryman making a rainbow yawn into the refuse barrel behind him. Quite a boorish lot, they seemed, but at least indisposed as he was the Corrie couldn't waylay the fresh beers headed their way with crude advances on the beer-maiden. Quote
Bodi Posted October 28, 2019 Posted October 28, 2019 i like the paved floor, the table looks good and there are a couple of interesting new pieces, such as the lantern and the woonden plates, nice minifigs too. Quote
Maxim I Posted October 28, 2019 Posted October 28, 2019 Indeed great job on the floor and the table! Also excellent minifig posing! Quote
deraven Posted October 28, 2019 Posted October 28, 2019 The table is a nice design, and interesting to see how you've done the sitting minifigs. I also really like how you set up the server to hold those 4 steins! Quote
Captain Dee Posted October 30, 2019 Posted October 30, 2019 Nice table in particular, and the way the minifigs are seated and posed is good. And I'm impressed with the girl's armload! Quote
Roadmonkeytj Posted October 30, 2019 Posted October 30, 2019 Very nice little scene. Lots of great techniques used in this one! Quote
Fraunces Posted October 31, 2019 Posted October 31, 2019 I like the story and the indirect promises for even more exiting stories Quote
