You have very few sets which are things you would find in a regular city and Market Street isn't even a good example of the modular set. To be honest, Market Street looks pretty good on the outside. The interior might be a bit disappointing but it's acceptable since it was released in 2007. Quote

I like yellow or blue. Trust me, if you've seen the real things, the London buses look amazing. They are also iconic. As a Londoner, I can say this with confidence - red works really extremely well on a bus. Each to their own though. Quote

I driven those before. We've got lots of those here in the DMV. Quite fine buses. The one in the picture is actually the bus I was driving at the time. I told the guy who took that picture and he burst out laughing. Edited December 1, 2020 by Brandon Pea Quote
icm Posted December 1, 2020 Posted December 1, 2020 Thanks for posting that picture! It's always nice to learn what other AFOLs do for their day job. You've posted about your bus driving job a lot before, but there's something about a nice photograph that really makes it, well, real. Do you drive the scenic monuments route every day? I haven't been to DC to see the monuments since I was 10. Could have gone to Virginia for grad school, but didn't. Quote

That was only during summer of 2019 back when they were doing track work on the yellow line. Otherwise, I just stay in VA with my bus. The bendies are still on reserve, but we only use those for rush hour nowadays. Btw, here is another set I think would be good for a city layout. Edited December 1, 2020 by Brandon Pea Quote
