Oleon has attacked Terraversa! But the rural population of Terraversa has already started
forming militias, traversing the heathland and marching towards battle.

I have no idea if there is any way to use this MOC for Terraversa and against Oleon, but
if there is I want to stand up against those nasty imperalists, those bluecoats, the fear of
all freedom loving people... Honestly, I like Oleon's invasion, and take my chance to MOC
against it. :-)

finally the terraversan are coming to their senses! It's a lost cause for Oleon if we intervene :innocent:

Actually, yellow and blue are Terraversa's national colors. More about it here:

I am not sure if it is appreciate for me to praise a build against Oleon's interests, but I won't tell the Order if you don't.

Kidding aside, this build is deceptively simple at first glance, but upon a closer look I am impressed. The angled plate approach is rather unique, and perfectly captures a small mound. I appreciate how irregular the local militia is and the array of weapons they are armed with.

@Elostirion

I like the landscape very much. I saw the construction technique on your Flickr website.

The representation of the militia seems determined. These won't make it easy for Oleon. It looks like there is now a guerrilla warfare.

It's interesting to see the war from Terraversa's perspective. That distinguishes a good story when it is told from both sides.

I think that the forks, the hammer and the bludgeon are really the touch that steal the show.

Even if I was puzzled by the base... weird idea, but it works well !

They are a militia, after all. Some peasants, villagers... What else do they have? Thanks :-)

I think you will soon find that this build is pretty perfect towards what we are working on in court... :pir-wink:

Great little build!

Thanks, and I am waiting for what the cour will have worked out then.

As Capt wolf pointed out, the flag is well established for Terraversa.
But after all, both nations are fighting for the same value: Freedom from the chains of established nations...

Really nice build! I caught glimpse of it over on Flickr, the terrain technique is really cool!

Thanks! But believe me... it was a horrible pain to build.

Thank you, glad you appreciate the result and the details.

Thank you for those kind words. Maybe I will do some more for TER in the future. Will see...

And for all who are interested:

Round 1x1 plates go under the fishnets, but believe me, I won't do that again. Really painful to build.

Brave of them to show up, but resistance is futile!

That's is an interesting technique for the ground. The mound it creates looks really smooth. Probably very difficult to use on a large scale MOC?

Impossible I'd say. It just isn't stable at all, the net always slipped out.
For large terrains I'd assume you would have to use this technique, which I will have to give a try some time soon...

Lovely little build, the effort put into the landscape definitely paid off! Showing off some militia from the local population is a great idea, loving the inclusion of pitchforks. No torches though? :pir_laugh2:

Also: good seeing you around, it has been rare lately. Good to have you. :pir-classic:

Neat build. I like the ondulated terrain. Just hope these brave men could come their senses soon, and let the soldiers do their job.

That terrain technique is amazing! Thanks for the cutaway view of the build process.

And this MOC shows how much can be packed into a small scene through careful detail and posing. Excellent!

I like the build and the terrain is awesome. That’s is a clever usage of fishnets with for terrain. It does look like it would be a tedious process. I have a lot of atiende but I don’t think I have enough to try that out.
